Bu araştırma sosyotropik ve otonomik kişilik özelliğinin empati ile ilişkisi var olduğundan yola çıkılarak öğrencilerin sosyotropik otonomik kişilik özelliğinin empati ile ilişkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Araştırma, İstanbul İlinde bir vakıf üniversitesinde 2011?2012 tarihleri arasında okuyan 88'i Moleküler Biyoloji ve Genetik, 47'si Psikoloji, 72'si Mühendislik, 90'ı İşletme, 71'i Mimarlık, 142'si ise Hemşirelik bölümü öğrencileri olmak üzere 431 kız 169 erkek toplam 600 öğrenci ile tanımlayıcı olarak gerçekleştirildi. Veriler, öğrencilerin sosyo-demografik verilerinin toplanması amacıyla ' Kişisel Bilgi Formu', sosyotropik- otonomik eğilimlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla 'Sosyotropi-Otonomi Ölçeği (SOSYOTO) ve empati düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla ' Cambridge Davranış Ölçeği ( Empati Ölçeği) kullanılarak toplandı. Araştırmada, öğrencilerin okudukları bölümün empati otonomik kişilik özelliğini etkilediği, öğrencilerin yaşının empati ve sosyotropik otonomik kişilik özelliğini etkilediği, öğrencilerin cinsiyetlerinin sosyotropik kişilik özelliğini etkilediği, öğrencilerin yaşamlarını en uzun süre geçirdikleri yerin empati ile sosyotropi kişilik özelliğini etkilediği, öğrencilerin aile yapısının, kardeş sayısının ve ailenin kaçıncı çocuğu olduğunun sosyotropik kişilik özelliğini etkilediği, öğrencilerin gelir düzeyinin empati ve sosyotropi kişilik özelliğini etkilediği, öğrencilerin ikamet ettikleri yerin empati ve otonomik kişilik özelliğini etkilediği, empati ile sosyotropik kişilik özelliğinin birbirini etkilemediği, empati ile otonomik kişilik özelliğinin birbirini etkilediği, empati ve otonomi arasında ters yönlü, zayıf bir ilişkinin olduğu, en yüksek otonomik kişilik özelliğinin psikoloji, en düşük otonomik kişilik özelliğinin ise işletme bölümü öğrencilerinde olduğu saptandı. Araştırmada veriler SPSS 16.0 programı kullanılarak bilgisayarda yapıldı. Bu verilerin analizinde; Frekans dağılımları, ortalama (x), standart sapma (SD), One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Testi (Normale Uygunluk Testi), Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (Oneway- ANOVA), Independence Samples t Testi , Pearson Correlation Analizi kullanılarak değerlendirildi.
This research is in a relationship with sosyotropik and Autonomic personality feature is on the basis of students ' empathy sosyotropik was made in order to determine the relationship between empathy with the autonomic personality.
