Wquarter of 20th century. Members of the site were very important people according to theperiod. After the construction of first Bosphorus Bridge, sites facade was changed. Majorityof the old buildings used as a trade center. In 1993 after the Capitol Shopping Center wasconstucted, site strated to be a important place for firms in Anatolian Continent.Other studying site-%DJODUEDúÕ ZDV D HVWDEOLVKPHQW DUHD of Armenian Minorities. We caneasily understand that from the old Armenian churches. Minorities culture effected theEXLOGLQJ VW\OHV ,Q WKDW DUHD EXLOGLQJ VW\OHV KDYH VRPH GLIIHUHQFHV IURP WKH W\SÕFDO 7XUNLVKHouses.To criticize the position and situation relations of site in today and yesterday conditions. Incriticization we analysed such topics:Building function analysis•Building layer numbers analysis•Construction technique analysis•Environmental utilization analysis•Old buildings originality analysis•According to the analysis; we saw that our studying areas are so smilar of the establishment.After 1990?s buildings were rapidly constructed with reinforce system as 1-5 layered. Whenwe look the establishment scatter of the closer parts of E-5 road, trade centers established, theother parts are house establishment area. Capitol Shopping Center is a important threshold forIXQFWLRQDO HVWDEOLVKPHQWV ,Q %DJODUEDúÕ VWXG\LQJ DUHD WUDGH FHQWHUV DUH QHDUHU WR WKH PDLQroad, houses are near mid roads. At the same time old buildings are restored far away from therestoration criterieas such as:Reinforced constructions with imitation of wooden facades•To build more layers above original buildings•We catagorized the cultural heritages. Categorization method is: main knowledge,architectural knowledge, orginalities and restoration advices of cultural heritages.Then we chose a old building to be a restoration example in studying area.
