Muhammed Avvâme (doğ.1358/1940 -), gerek dirâyetu'l-hadîs gerekse rivâyetu'l-hadîs alanında yaptığı ilmî çalışmalarla, gerçekleştirdiği tenkitli neşirler/tahkiklerle, hadis ilminin kadîm ve güncel problemlerine dair verdiği telif eserler ve yetiştirdiği talebelerle günümüzde hadis ilminin önde gelen isimlerinden biridir. Avvâme'nin hadisçiliği, hadislerin Allah'tan Hz. Peygamber'e gönderilen vahyin bir çeşidi olduğu görüşüyle modernist hadisçilikten ayrılırken, hadisleri kitaplarında tedvin edip günümüze ulaştıran muhaddislerin, eserlerinde takip ettikleri metotları araştırıp tam olarak usullerini anlamadan ve onların metotlarına bağlı kalmadan özellikle sahih isimli sünnet kitaplarını doğru anlamanın mümkün olmadığı, hadislerle doğru şekilde amel edebilmek için fıkhî mezheplere bağlı kalmanın zorunlu olduğu anlayışıyla da selefî hadis temâyülünden ayrılır. O, çalışmalarını geleneksel hadisçiliğin metotlarına uygun olarak sürdürür, fakat geleneği takdis etmez. Dolayısıyla onun hadisçiliği, yaptığı tahkik ve tevsik çalışmalarıyla mütekaddim ulemanın çalışmalarını tahkim ederek, onların çalışmalarında tesbit ettiği kusurları yine onların metotlarına sahip çıkarak takviye eden, geleceği geçmişe bağlayan bir köprü mahiyetindedir. Avvâme, bir yandan kaynaklarla ve onları oluşturan ulemayla irtibatı kavî tutarak mevcut müktesebatı doğru anlama hassasiyetini yaşatırken, diğer yandan günümüz dünyasında genel olarak hadislere yönelen çok yönlü eleştirilerle de yakından ilgilenen ve onlara gerekli ilmi cevaplar vermekten geri durmayan dinamik ve üretken bir ilim anlayışına sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, Muhammed Avvâme'nin biyografisi, ilmî hayatı, çok yönlü hadisçiliği, telif eserleri, muhakkik kişiliği ve hadis alanına katkıları detaylı şekilde araştırılmıştır. Muhammad Awwamah (born in 1358/1940-) is a prominent figure in the field of hadith studies. He is known for his scholarly research in both dirayatu'l-hadith and riwayatu'l-hadith, as well as his critical publications and investigations. He has also authored copyrighted works addressing both ancient and contemporary issues in the science of hadith and has trained numerous students in this field. While Awwamah's hadith studies differs from modernist hadith studies with the view that hadiths are a type of revelation sent to the Prophet from Allah, it also differs from the Salafi hadith studies with the understanding that it is not possible to understand correctly the sunnah books, especially the ones called sahih, without researching the methods followed by the hadith scholars who compiled the hadiths in their books and conveyed them to the present day, and without adhering to their methods, and that it is necessary to adhere to the schools of jurisprudence in order to act correctly with the hadiths. He continues his work in accordance with the methods of traditional hadith studies, but does not sanctify the tradition. Therefore, his hadith studies are like a bridge connecting the future to the past by reinforcing the works of the previous scholars with the studies of verification and verification he conducted, and by reinforcing the flaws he identified in their works by adopting their methods. Awwâmah not only maintains a strong connection with sources and scholars to understand existing knowledge accurately but also has a dynamic and productive understanding of science. He is interested in the multifaceted criticisms of hadiths in today's world and does not hesitate to provide scientific answers to these criticisms. In this study, a comprehensive investigation was conducted on the biography, scientific contributions, versatile hadith, authored works, and scholarly personality of Muhammad Awwame, along with his significant contributions to the field of hadith.
