20. Yüzyıl Tiyatrosunda Estetik Düsünce? adlı tez çalısması, 20. Yüzyıl'da öne çıkan tiyatroakımlarının ve bu akımların öncü sanatçılarının sanat felsefelerini incelemektedir. ?nceleme,20. Yüzyıl'da tiyatro edebiyatının değisimi ve gelisimi üzerinde değil, sahnelemetekniklerinin üzerinde odaklanmıstır. Dramaturgi değil, rejidir arastırma konusu edilen. Tezinkapsamına, 20. Yüzyıl tiyatrosu tarihi değil, bu yüzyılda kendi estetiklerini gelistirmis vesanat felsefeleri doğrultusunda kendi teatral akımlarını yaratmıs 13 yönetmenle birlikte,Dısavurumculuk, Fütürizm, Dadaizm, Gerçeküstücülük ve Bauhaus adlı avangard akımlargirmektedir. 20. Yüzyıl tiyatrosu, sanat tarihi açısından değil, birbirinden farklı teatralüslupları olusturan, o üslupların olusmasına kaynaklık eden sanat felsefesi ve dünya görüsüaçısından ele alınmıstır. Tezde, incelenen tiyatro estetiklerini açımlamak için belli sorulardanyola çıkılmıs; bunların cevapları arastırılarak, bütün bu tiyatro akımlarının bu sorulara verdiğicevaplar üzerinden bu akımları yaratan sanatçıların sanat felsefeleri bulgulanmıs, birbirlerinebenzestikleri ve birbirlerinden ayrıldıkları noktalar saptanmıstır. ?Tiyatro nedir??, ?Nedentiyatro??, ?Tiyatronun amacı ve islevi ne olmalıdır??, ?Sanat nedir??, ?Tiyatroda oyuncu,seyirci, metin, müzik, ısık, efekt, dekor, aksesuar gibi öğelerin anlam ve önemi nedir??,?Sahne uzamının yapısı ve sahne-seyirci iliskisi nasıl olmalıdır??, ?Oyunculuk nedir??,?Oyuncu nasıl bir teknikle oynamalıdır??, ?Tiyatroyu tiyatro yapan, bu sanatı diğersanatlardan ayıran ayırt edici özellik nedir??, ?Tiyatroyu sanatsal kılan nedir?? gibi sorularsorulmus, ortaya çıkan olgular tümevarımsal bir metotla değerlendirilerek, estetik düsünceyevarılmıstır.
The thesis named ?The Aesthetic Thought In 20. Century Theater? examines the artphilosophy of the trends and of the avant-gardist artists? of these trends, which come forwardin 20. Century. The examination is focused on the direction techniques, not the change anddevelopment of the theater literature. The object of the research is not dramaturgy, butdirecting. The extent of the thesis is not 20. Century theater history, rather, the 13 directorswho developed their own aesthetics and created their own theatrical trends in the direction oftheir art philosophys, with the avant-garde trends named Expresyonism, Futurism, Dadaism,Surrealism and Bauhaus in this century. 20. Century theater is not evaluated in terms of arthistory; rather, in terms of its structure blending various theatrical styles, the artisticphilosophy and the outlook on life which have acted as formants of such styles. In the thesis,certain questions are used to comment on the examined theater aesthetics, with the answersgiven to these questions by the theater trends, the art philosophies of these trends? creators arediscovered through these answers, and the points they resemble and contradict each other aredetermined. Among these questions are; ?What is theater??, ?Theater, but why??, ?Whatshould be the objective and the function of the theater??, ?What is art??, ?What is themeaning and importance of the elements like the actor, audience, text, music, light, effect, setand accessory??, ?What is acting??, ?With what kind of technique should the actor act??,?What is the main characteristic that discriminates theater from the other arts and makestheater itself??, ?What makes the theater artistic??; the facts reached by which are elaboratedusing an inductional method, and applied to the aesthetic thought.
