Bu araştırma ile Antalya ili Kumluca ilçesindeki örtüaltı sebze üretimde bulunan konvansiyonel ve İTU üreticilerinde bitki koruma faaliyetlerindeki tutum ve davranış değişikliğinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaca yönelik olarak, Antalya ili Kumluca ilçesinin Beykonak, Hacıveliler, Mavikent, Merkez ve Salur beldelerinde anket çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma yöresindeki üreticilerin bireysel özellikleri, tercih ettikleri üretim desenleri, tarımsal alet ve ekipman varlıkları, karşılaştıkları bitki koruma problemleri ve benimsedikleri mücadele yöntemleri ile üretim süreçleri boyunca yararlandıkları bilgi kaynakları yapılan anketlerle incelenmiştir. Firma sahiplerinin anket yapıldığı anda işletmede bulunmadığı durumlarda anket firma çalışanlarıyla anket yapılmıştır. Toplamda 85 kişiye anket yapılmış ve ankete katılanların 20'sini iyi tarım uygulamaları teknikleri ile üretim faaliyeti gösteren üreticiler, 65'ini konvansiyonel tarım teknikleri ile üretim yapan üreticiler oluşturmuştur. İyi tarım uygulaması yapan üreticilerin listesine Kumluca İlçe Tarım Müdürlüğü'nden 2012 üretim sezonuna ait üretici listelerinden, konvansiyonel üretim teknikleri ile üretim yapan üreticilerin listesine Kumluca Ziraat Odası Birliği'nden 2012 yılına ilişkin Kumluca da faaliyet gösteren üreticilerin listesinden ulaşılmıştır. Genel bilgi düzeyini ölçen anket soruları ile bölgede iyi tarım uygulamaları ile konvansiyonel tarım uygulamaları yapan üreticiler arasında bitki koruma konusundaki davranış değişikliği incelendiğinde, iyi tarım uygulamaları yapan üreticilerin danışmanlık sistemini daha çok benimsedikleri ve gıda güvenliği konusunda daha bilinçli oldukları söylenebilir. Ancak uygulamada sorun olan zararlılar üzerinden sorular değerlendirildiğinde her iki gurup üreticilerin de uygulamada öncelikle kimyasal mücadele yöntemlerini tercih ettikleri, alternatif mücadele yöntemlerini yeterli düzeyde tercih etmediklerini ortaya koymuştur. Bu sonuçlar iyi tarım uygulamalar yapan üreticilerinin konvansiyonel üreticiler gibi bitki koruma uygulamaları konusunda daha fazla bilinçlendirilmesi ve yönlendirilmesi gerektiğini ortaya koymaktadır.
The purpose of this research is to determine the changings in attitudes and behaviors in plant conservation of producers who use conventional and ITU method for greenhouse. The survey was made in Beykonak, Hacıveliler, Mavikent, Merkez and Salur which are the town of Kumluca, Antalya. During this research, producers' individual characteristics, production patterns which they prefer, agricultural equipment, the information resources that producers' benefit from, problems of plant conservation and their methods have been examined by surveys. In the absence of the owners, the survey was made by company employees. In total, there were 85 people in this survey. 20 people out of 85 were producers who use good agricultural practice techniques, rest of them use conventional agricultural techniques. The list of these producers who use good agricultural practice techniques were reached by using the list of product season of 2012 which is given by Management of Agriculture in Kumluca Town. The list of these producers who use conventional agricultural techniques were reached by using the list of product season of 2012 in Kumluca which is given by The United Chamber of Agriculture With questionnaire that measures the standard of knowledge, when analyzing the differences of changing attitudes and behaviors in plant conservation between the producers who use good agricultural practice techniques and the producers who use conventional agricultural techniques, it can be said that the first producers might adopt the advisory system and might be aware of the food safety more than the second producers. However, in questionnaire, when analyzing the specific questions which is about struggles with pests, it shows that both producers prefer the chemical methods in the first place and they do not prefer alternative methods sufficiently. These results shows that the producers who use good agricultural practice should be raised their awareness and should be directed more in terms of plant conservations, like the producers who use conventional agricultural techniques.
