Throughout human history, many prophets have been sent to convey orders and prohibitions to people. Jesus is one of these prophets. He has been the recipient of many miracles since his birth. The first of these miracles is his birth. This study deals with the interpretations made mainly in the contemporary period about the birth of Jesus and his miracles. In the first part of the study, the birth and miracles of Jesus are examined according to classical sources. In this context, Mary, the mother of Jesus, her family and some of her outstanding characteristics are briefly emphasized, as they are directly related to the birth event. In the second part, views on the birth of Jesus and his miracles are examined according to contemporary sources. In this context, the views that emerged in the contemporary period on secondary issues such as the birth of Jesus and his miracles, as well as the meaning of his word and being a spirit from God, and their background are determined. In the conclusion section, the data and findings obtained on the subject in question are evaluated. |
