The Turkish invasions that started in Anatolia before 1071 became more frequent after the Malazgirt Victory and caused the Turkmen tribes to migrate here. The tribes who came to Anatolia came here together with the Central Asian cultures and adopted the semi-nomadic lifestyle. They had to cope with many difficulties during their life, which was spent in winter in winter and in summer in highlands. These include being ruled by the Ottoman Empire, a local government, their relations with the inhabitants, and their coping with the bandits between them. n this study, in which we describe the historical process of one of the great tribes, the Rishvan Tribe, the settlement of the Rishvan Tribe in Anatolia and the process of their homeland is explained, the areas where the Halikan Carving, a tribe of the Rishvan Tribe, settled and its socio-cultural history are also explained. It is understood that the terms Etrak and Ekrad are not used to define an ethnic identity based on the way they are used in documents. While the social and cultural life of Halikân Carving is presented with the information obtained, it is also given with examples from the old and current Turkish communities. As a result of all this information, it is seen that the Halikan Tribe and the Rishvan Tribe are a Turkmen tribe. The aim of the study is to contribute to the history of Turkish identity and culture. |
