ÖZETBu çalışmada, yeni sağ düşüncenin temel nitelikleri sergilenmekte ve buolgunun, İcraatın İçinden isimli televizyon programlarındaki ideolojik kuruluşuanaliz edilmektedir. Çalışmanın öncelikli amaçlarından biri, yeni sağ ideolojinintemel niteliklerini, hem ulusal hem de uluslararası bağlamda ortaya koyabilmektir.Yeni sağ ideoloji, İkinci Dünya Savaşı'ndan 1970'li yıllara kadar süregelen refahdevleti politikalarının çöküşüyle birlikte, 1980'li yıllardan itibaren tüm dünyadahegemonyasını kurmuştur.Turgut Özal ise, İngiltere'de Margaret Thatcher ve Amerika'da RonaldReagan tarafından uygulanan politikaların Türkiye temsilcisi olarak kabuledilmektedir. Bu çerçevede, yeni sağın dünya çapında hangi dönüşümler sonucundaortaya çıktığını, bu olgunun ekonomik ve siyasal bağlamları ile Batı dünyasındakiörneklerini kapsayan bu çalışma, Türkiye'de yeni sağın ideolojik, siyasal ve sosyo-ekonomik çerçevesini, 80 sonrası Özal'lı yıllarda ANAP örneği üzerinden yolaçıkarak ortaya koymaktadır.Ek olarak; ideoloji, dil, anlam ve söylem üzerine geliştirilen farklı görüşlerışığında, medya ve ideoloji ilişkisini eleştirel bir perspektifle ele alan bu çalışmada,yeni sağ ideolojinin söylemsel kuruluşu, İcraatın İçinden program metinleriüzerinden gerçekleştirilen bir çözümlemeyle sergilenmektedir. Böylece, Özalsöylemi içinde hegemonyanın kuruluşu ve toplumsal uzlaşının inşa ediliş süreciaçığa çıkarılmaktadır.
1ABSTRACTThis study will seek to analyze the major premises of the neo-right ideologyin Turkey and demonstrate the ways it was constructed through a series of televisionprogramme called `İcraatın İçinden?. One primary purpose of this study is to discussthe foundation of the neo-right ideology vis-à-vis both national and internationalsettings. Since 1980?s onward, the neo-right movement established a globaldominance with the fall of welfare state model, which lasted roughly from theSecond World War up until 1970?s.Turgut Özal, is perceived as the Turkish spokesperson of the aforementionedpolicies, which were being pursued by Margaret Thatcher in Britain and by RonaldReagan in the US. By doing so, the thesis seeks to examine the circumstances of thetransformation in the world, under which the neo-right ideology was founded, byreferring to examples in the Western Hemisphere as well as political and economicissues. In addition, the thesis analyzes the political, socio-economic and ideologicalframework of the new right movement in Turkey by a meticulous scrutiny with theMotherland Party being its subject matter.Another aim of this study is to demonstrate how the ideology been structuredin the programmes, which had been started to be held during the ANAP governmentperiod. Due to the affiliation of this thesis with the notion of conceptualization ofideologies, would lay out the divergent perceptions of language, meaning anddiscourse in media scripts. On this regard, the examination of the new right ideologyis been materialized by the discourse analysis rendered over the programme texts.Thus, the establishment of the hegemony and the construction of the social consensuson the theme of new right right are set forth from a critical perspective.
