Seyyid Muhammed el-İdrisî, 1876'da Asîr'in Sabya kasabasında dünyaya gelmiştir. Meşrutiyet'in ilanıylaberaber meydana gelen otorite boşluğundan istifade ederek Osmanlı Hükümeti'ne karşı isyanınıbaşlatmıştır.

His first uprising supressed by acontract at the end of the first year of rebellion. However, next rebellion came Seyyid Muhammedel-Idrisi?s allience with İmam Yahya in 1910 and made Asir and Yemen the very first item in theagenda of Ottoman Government.Trablusgarp War was an essential point which made the Asir uprising an internationalproblem and the alliance of Italians with Seyyid Muhammed el-Idrisi enforced this reformation ofthe rebellion from a loca levent to an international one. After the Ouchy agreement, SeyyidMuhammed el-Idrisi?s political crimes were forgived and some peace conversations made withhim, yet, no results came out.During the World War I, the uprising of Idrisi?s contunied.
