Bu tezde arada kalmış bir kadın tiplemesi olarak ev kadınının incelenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bu bağlamda toplumsal tip kavramı ve metodolojisi söz konusu tipolojinin çizilmesi için önemli olmuştur. Çalışmada günlük yaşamdaki rutinleri ve sosyal imkânları arasında kalan kadın tipi arada kalmış bir kadın tipini var eden temel belirleyen olmuştur. Bu noktada ev kadını tipini var eden günlük yaşam, çevre baskısı, kültürel ve dini baskının tipleştirmenin üzerindeki etkisine yönelik bir tip tahlili yapılmıştır. Bir tip çözümlemesi için gerekli görülen ben ve ötekinin bakış açısı bu araştırma için belirleyici olmuştur. Çalışmada nitel araştırma deseni tercih edilmiş ve bu amaçla 35 katılımcıyla görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşmeler neticesinde elde edilen veriler yorumlanmış ve arada kalmış bir kadın tiplemesi olarak ev kadını tipine ulaşılmıştır. Üç ana bölümden oluşan tezin birinci bölümü ev kadınının toplumsal bir tip olarak tanımlanmasını sağlayan rol ve sorumlulukların tespitine yönelik kavramsallaştırmalardan oluşmuştur. Tezin ikinci bölümünde söz konusu tipolojiye yönelik kuramsal bir çerçeve çizilmiş ve araştırmanın yöntemi üzerine açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Tezin saha bulgularının oluşturduğu üçüncü bölümü ise arada kalmış bir kadın tipi olarak ev kadınının çözümlendiği ve yorumlandığı bölümdür. In this thesis, it is aimed to examine housewife as a type of woman horns of dilemma. In this context the concept of social type and methodology of social type has been important to draw the typology. In this study, the basic determinant of the type of woman who was among the routines and social oportunities in daily life was determined. At this point, a type analysis was conducted for the effect of daily life, environmental pressure, cultural and religious pressure on the typing of the type of housewife. The point of view of the self and the other, which was deemed necessary for a type analiysis, was decisive for this research. Qualitative research design was prefferred in this study and interviews were conducted with 35 participants for this purpose. The data obtained from the interviews were interpreted and the type of housewife was reached as a type of women of horns of dilemma. The first part of the thesis which consist of three main chapters, consist of conceptualizations for determining the roles and responsibilities of housewife as a social type. In the second part of the thesis, a theoretical framework for this typology is drawn and explanations are made on the method of the research. The third part of thesis, which consists of field findings, is the section where the housewife is analyzed and interpreted as a type of woman horns of dilemma.
