Bu çalışmanın konusu, Amerika'lı Marksist düşünür Fredric Jameson'ın Geç Kapitalizm analizini, diyalektik teori- pratik birliğine taşıyan, Bilişsel Haritalandırma kavramının ortaya koyduğu kültürel stratejidir. Söz konusu yeniden inşacı teorik yaklaşımın stratejik hedefi, diyalektiğin bir yöntem olmaktan ziyade, tarihsel olarak sürekli bir biçimde yenilenen bir düşünme biçimi şeklinde kavranmasıdır. Çalışmanın hedefi, Jameson'ın Bilişsel Haritalandırma ile inşa ettiği eleştirel stratejinin, Tarihsel Materyalizmin sınıf-yapı-üretim tarzı gibi klasik temaları ile sürekliliğini açığa çıkarmaktır. Kapitalizmin aşılmasında alternatif bir politik kültürün inşasını, politik bir stratejinin yöntemine taşıyan teorik süreç, öz ve biçim ilişkisini tarihsel olarak yeniden gündeme getiren ve Jameson'ın üst yorum olarak tanımladığı Marksist diyalektiktir. Çalışmanın hedefini belirleyen temel varsayım, yönteme ilişkin tartışmaları, politik mücadelenin somut stratejisine dönüştürmekte hareket noktası olarak gördüğümüz, Geç Kapitalizm dönemselleştirmesi çerçevesinde belirlenmiştir. Jameson, Geç Kapitalizmin başat formu olarak tanımladığı postmodernizmi, kapitalist üretim tarzının, Marx'ın üretim-mübadele ve dolaşımın organik bütünlüğü temelindeki formülasyonuna sadık kalarak, kültürün malileştiği ve sermayenin kültürleştiği "Dolaşım"ın baskın nitelikleri çerçevesinde yorumlamaktadır. Birinci bölümde, yeni toplumsal hareketlerin gündeme taşıdığı politik özne sorunsalı çerçevesinde "sınıf" a ilişkin tartışmalara yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, Marksizm ve Marksizm dışı düşüncelerin tartışma zeminini oluşturan bir diğer ikilik olarak altyapı-üstyapı kavramları analiz edilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde Jameson'ın örgütleyici kavramı olarak "üretim tarzı" kavramı, Lukacsçı "bütünlük" kavramıyla birlikte ele alınmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde, özne sorunundan hareketle, kolektif öznenin inşasına ilişkin kültürel bir norm oluşturmanın stratejisine yönelen Jameson'ın, Bilişsel Haritalandırma ile hedeflediği yöntemsel bütünlüğün Ütopyacı boyutu, Brecht'in pedagojik dramaturjisi temelinde değerlendirilmiştir. In this study, American Marxist thinker Fredric Jameson's cultural strategy, which is presented by Cognitive Mapping concept that brings Late Capitalism analysis to dialectical theory-practice unity, is investigated. Strategical objective of the re-constructionist theoretical approach in question is the comprehension of the dialectic not as a method but as a continuously historically renewed way of thinking.The goal of the study is to reveal the continuity of the critical strategy, built by Jameson's Cognitive Mapping, with classical themes of Historical Materialism like class-structure-mode of production. Jameson interprets postmodernizm, which is defined as a predominant form of Late Capitalism by himself, in dominant qualities of "Circulation" where culture is financialized and capital is culturised by remaining faithful to the capitalist mode of production, formulation underlying in organic unity of Marx's production-exchange and circulation. In this context, postmodernism as Jameson's main focus of cultural analysis and starting point of his critical strategy, must be thought as a ideological form of historical moment in which "Circulation" became prominent in multinational phase of capitalist mode of production. In first chapter, discussions over "class" in the context of political subject question which is brought up by new social movements are presented.In second chapter, base (substructure) and superstructure notions which are another duality that establishes discussion platform for Marxist and non-Marxist thoughts are analysed. In third chapter, organizing concept of Jameson's "mode of production" notion is handled together with "totality" concept of Lukács. The simultaneous and diachronic dimension of the mode of production, provides us to asses the specificity of capitalism as a mode of production in the break and continuity dialectics.In fourth chapter, with reference to subject question, Utopic dimension of procedural totality aimed by Jameson's, who is oriented towards strategy of creating a cultural norm related to construction of collective subject, Cognitive Mapping is reviewed based on Brecht's pedagogical dramaturgy.Bilim Kodu : 1171 Key Word: Political Sicience Methodology, Political Economy, Political Philosophy, Theatre Theory
