Bu çalışmanın amacı Avrupa Birliği'nin Türk Sermaye Piyasası'nı ilgilendirenkriterlerinin olası etkilerinin ortaya konmasıdır. Çalışmada Avrupa Birliği sürecindesermaye piyasası alanında yapılan temel düzenlemeler, sermaye piyasasınınpaydaşları olan aracı kuruluşlar, şirketler, yatırımcılar ve düzenleyici otoriteaçısından konularına göre maddelerle açıklanmış, geçmişte birliğe üye olmuşülkelerin göstergeleri ve yaşanan deneyimler incelenmiş, Türkiye de mevcut durumlakıyaslama yoluyla katkılar ve beklentiler ortaya konmuş ve üyelik sürecinin etkileritartışılmıştır.
The primary objective of this study is to bring up the possible impacts of theEuropean Union Process to the Turkish Capital Markets. In this study, the basicdirectives of the European Union which are related to the Turkish Capital Marketshave been explained by matters about all the actors of the market those ofintermediary institutions, companies, investors and the regulator. The experience andthe economic indicators of the countries which had joined the EU in the past wereshown and compared with the current situation in Turkey and with referance to theaspects the impacts was discussed.
