Bu çalışmanın amacı alternatif okulların sorunları, yöntemleri ve uygulamalarının Waldorf okullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin görüşlerine bağlı olarak incelenmesidir. Alternatif eğitimin günümüzde yaygınlaşmaya başlaması ile hakkında yapılan çalışmalar artmış ve bu çalışma da Antalya ilinde faaliyet gösteren Waldorf eğitim kurumlarının sorun, yöntem ve uygulamalarının ayrıntılı biçimde ortaya konulması ve geliştirilmesi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma konunun derinlemesine incelenmesine olanak sağlayan nitel yöntem ile yapılmıştır. Bu yöntem kapsamında sosyal algıların araştırıldığı ve en doğru sonucun ortaya konulduğu durum çalışması modeli kullanılmıştır. Antalya ilinde faaliyet gösteren Waldorf okullarda görev yapan 15 öğretmene görüşme formu uygulanarak öğretmenlerin görüşleri alınmış ve içerik analizi tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler temalar oluşturularak ve görüşlere referanslar yapılarak derinlemesine analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, eğitimde her bir öğrencinin öğrenme süreçlerinin farklı olduğu, okulun birey için kısıtlayıcı olduğu, eğitimde bireysel farklılıklara verilen önemin arttığı ve bu farkların alternatif eğitim yolu ile bireyin eğitimine pozitif katkıda bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda alternatif eğitim veren okulların öğretmenler tarafından benimsendiği, verilen alternatif eğitimin bireysel öğrenme odaklı olması, öğrencinin yaratıcılığını üst düzeye çıkarması ve bu fark ve yaratıcılığı eğitim sürecine olumlu şekilde katmasını hedeflemek gibi farklarının, öğretmenler tarafından anlaşıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan, bu okullara yönelik velilerin ön yargılar taşıdıkları, okullarda eğitim yardımcısı materyallerin eksik olduğu, alternatif eğitime yönelik uzman eksikliği sorununun bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. The aim of this study is to reveal the problems encountered in alternative schools, practices and methods carried out in these schools depending on the views of teachers working in waldorf schools. Studies about alternative school have increased with the spread of alternative schools. This study aims to reveal the problems and improve methods and implications of Waldorf schools in Antalya in depth. The study has been conducted with the help of qualitative analysis that broadens the topic of the study. In the framework of this method, the case study was applied where social perceptions were investigated and the most accurate result put forward. In this context, interview form was applied to 15 teachers working in Waldorf schools in Antalya. The data were analyzed in depth by creating themes and referring to opinions. As a result of analises, it was stated that learning process of each student is different, school is restrictive for the individual, importance given to individual differences has increased and these differences have positive effects for education of individual with alternative education. As a result of the study, it was found out that the schools providing alternative education were adopted by the teachers and the difference of the education given from the mainstream education was understood by the teachers. On the other hand, it was found out that parents have prejudices about these schools, and there are problems such as lack of educational materials and lack of experts for alternative education.
