Araştırmanın genel amacı, e-portfolyonun bir sosyal ağ sitesi içerisinde etkin olarak kullanılabilirliğini araştırmak, e-portfolyo değerlendirme sürecinin öğrencilerin başarısını nasıl etkilediğini incelemektir. Bu kapsamda yapısalcı öğrenme modelinin, sosyal ağ sitelerine e-portfolyo entegrasyonu ile etkin olarak uygulanabilirliğine bakılmış ve bu uygulamanın öğrencilerin web destekli öğrenme tutumlarına olumlu ya da olumsuz etkileri olup olmadığını gözlenmiştir.Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2010-2011 öğretim yılında Tekirdağ ili Teknik Lise ve Endüstri Meslek Lisesi 10. sınıfta eğitim öğrencilerinden oluşturulmuştur. Öğrencilerden 92'si e-portfolyo destekli öğretim uygulaması yapılan deney grubunda yer alırken, 110'u da geleneksel sınıf içi öğretim yapılan kontrol grubunda yer almıştır.Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilirken, istatistiksel analizler için SPSS 17.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Çalışma verileri değerlendirilirken tanımlayıcı istatistiksel metotlarından (Frekans, Yüzde, Ortalama, Standart sapma) yararlanılmıştır. Ölçekler arası ilişkileri saptamak için Pearson Korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar % 95 güven aralığında, anlamlılık p<0,05 düzeyinde çift yönlü olarak değerlendirilmiştir.Araştırma sonucunda, e-portfolyo destekli eğitimin öğrencilerin başarılarını olumlu yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin e-portfolyo destekli öğretim sürecinin sonunda tutumlarının olumlu yönde değiştiği saptanmıştır. Bununla birlikte sosyal ağların eğitimde kullanılmasının öğretmen-öğrenci, öğrenci-öğrenci iletişimi, öğrenme sorumluluğunun artması ve sosyal ağların kullanım amaçlarının değiştirilmesi açısından olumlu sonuçlar doğurduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuçta eğitimde sosyal ağ kullanımın avantajlarının yanında bir kısım dezavantajlarının da bulunduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: E-portfolyo, elektronik gelişim dosyası, sosyal ağlar, e-portfolyo destekli eğitim, eğitimde ölçme ve değerlendirme, öğretim tasarımı modelleri.
The overall objective of the study is to research the availability of active use of the e-portfolio with in a social networking site and to examine how e-portfolio assessment process affects student achievement. In this context, the effective applicability of constructivist model of learning observed by integrating the e-portfolio in a social network, also positive and negative effects of this application evaluated.The study group consisted of the Tekirdag Technical and Vocational School 10th grade students, in the spring semester of 2010-2011 academic year. 110 students in the control group and 92 students in the experimental group participated to the research.The findings of this study were evaluated using SPSS 17.0 statistical package program. For the evaluation of operating data, descriptive statistical methods (frequency, percentage, mean, Standard deviation) had been used. Pearson's correlation analysis used to determine the relationships between the scales. Results had evaluated as two-way in 95% confidence interval and significance of p <0.05.At the end of the research, it determined that the education supported by e-portfolio positively affect the success of the students. In addition, it identified that at the end of the e-portfolio based teaching process, students attitudes had changed positively. However, the use of social networks in education had emerged positive results in terms of, teacher-student, student-student communication, increasing responsibility for learning and changing the purposes of social networks. Finally, it emerged that by the side of advantages there is disadvantages of using social networks in education.Key Words: E-portfolio, electronic development file, social networks, e-portfolio supported education, measurement and evaluation in education, instructional design models.
