Yüzyıl sonundan itibaren,tüm dünyada ve toplumlarda tarih bilinci artarak gelişme gösteren bir olgu haline gelmiştir.Bu bağlamda, devraldığımız tarihi eserlerin korunarak gelecek nesillere aktarılması çağdaş toplumların üzerinde önemle durdukları bir problem olmuştur. Sadece anıtsal yapıların korunup, daha küçük boyuttaki yapıların kendi haline terk edilmesi, bilhassa yapının özgünlüğünü bozan etmenlerin arttığı günümüzde, koruma bilincinin yeni yeni oluştuğu ülkemiz koşullarında, kullanılmayan kendi haline terkedilmiş Afife Hatun Tekkesi gibi yapıların, korunması gerekliliğini çok daha ciddi boyutlara taşımıştır.Bu tez çalışması Afife Hatun Tekkesini oluşturan kagir tevhidhane binası,ahşap meşruta binası ve nazirelerin korunması amacıyla rölövelerinin hazırlanması, restitüsyon ve restorasyon projelerinin hazırlanarak yeniden kullanımının sağlanması, böylece yapının kazanımının sağlanarak kültürel mirasımızdaki yerini almasını amaçlamaktadır. Yapının ortadan kalkan bölümlerinin tespiti, orijinal bina ve bölümlere sonradan yapılan ekler, bakımsızlık ve ilgisizlik nedeniyle çevre düzeninin bozulması ve ana binanın bugün kullanılamaz halde olması; yapı hakkında kaynak eser bulmadaki güçlükler, belgeleme ve rölöve çalışmaları esnasında karşılaşılmış olan problemlerdir. Bu çalışmada, binanın belgeleme, rölöve ve yerinde tespiti çalışmaları yapılarak, bilgisayar ortamında yapının plan ve projeleri hazırlanmıştır. Bunun için bilgisayar destekli çizim programlan, cephe ve kesit çizimlerinde taş yüzey çiziminde ihtiyaç duyulan yönlendirilmiş fotoğraf elde etmede kullanılan fotoğraf programı yazılımları ve bu fotoğrafların çekiminde yüksek çözünürlüklü dijital fotoğraf makinesi kullanılmıştır. Literatürden elde edilen bilgiler, eski fotoğraf harita ve çizimler,yerinde ölçümler yapılarak elde edilen bilgi ve veriler, bilgisayar yardımı ile işlenerek, yapının korunması ve yemden kazanımı için rölöve, restitüsyon, restorasyon projelerinin oluşturulmasına çalışılmıştır.Bu tez çalışması sonucunda kullanıma kapatılmış ve gittikçe yok olmaya yüz tutmuş fakat kent dokusu ve döneminin sivil mimari özelliklerini günümüze taşıması açısından, bu tarz bir yapının kazanımı ayrıca önem taşımaktadır. THE RESTORATION PROJECT OF AFİFE HATUN TEKKE SUMMARY th Since the end of the 19 century, comprehension of the history and authenticity of the historic buildings as historic documents gained importance.Therefore, architectural heritage which have been taken over from our ancestors, should be conserved and transfered to the future. This is a subject that is appreciated by developed and post - modern societies.In our country only monumental buildings have been conserved so far, other simpler buildings of historical value are conserved in limited amounts, which were important historical documents for the social and religious life of 19 century were abandoned and ruined. The conservation of the simpler buildings of historical value is important, especially nowadays, because there are a lot of deterioration processes which act on those buildings. The proposed project envisages the survey, reconstitution, conservation, restoration of the main building which is a masonry structure with timber flooring and roofing, timber framed residence and the cemetery and re-using the building complex with adaptive use. The determination of the original parts of the building and the subsequent parts were difficult to detect, because of neglect and abundance, the building was in a very bad state of conservation. The lack of adequate documents for this building lead to further research and documentation In this thesis cad systems were used to process the numerious data obtained from the documentation, surveying, statistical evaluation. Forms derived from analogical methods, old photograps, old drawings, old maps and literature, were evaluated for the reconstitution and restoration projects. It is particularly important that the subject of this dissertation thesis is a unique example. On the other hand, this "tekke"(dervish convent) is a very important part of the urban texture of Eyüp district, and it has an extraordinary style of profane architecture, so its conservation is an initation for a wider range of conservation campaign around the setting of Afife Hatun Tekke.
