12-13 yaş grubu çocuklarla drama yöntemi ile bir tiyatro oyununun sahnelenmesi sürecinin değerlendirildiği bu tez çalışmasında öncelikle drama ile ilgili bazı temel kavramlara yer verilmiştir. ?Dramanın Tanımı?, ?Dramatik Eğitim?, ?Dramanın Bireye Katkıları?, ?Doğaçlama?, ?Yaratıcılık?, ?Çocuklarla Tiyatro? ve ?12-13 Yaş Grubu Çocukların Gelişim Psikolojisi Açısından Değerlendirilmesi? başlıklarının irdelendiği teorik bölümün ardından, ?Umut Üşür Sokaklarda? adlı tiyatro oyununun sahnelenmesi sürecinin değerlendirildiği ikinci bölüm yer almaktadır. Bu ikinci bölümde, 8 haftalık bir drama sürecinin yapılandırılması ve sonrasında da çalışılan tiyatro oyununun dramaturji çalışmaları (oyunun konusu, teması, reji yorumu ve provalar ile ilgili notlar) yer almıştır.Sekiz haftalık drama sürecinde öncelikle, çocukları bir tiyatro oyunu içerisinde yer alabilecek konuma getirebilmek amaçlanmıştır. Daha açık bir anlatımla hiçbir tiyatro geçmişi ve bilgisi olmayan bireyleri, öncelikle tiyatro oyunu oynayabilecek düzeye taşımak, belirlenen ilk hedeftir. Tabii ki bununla birlikte çocukların kişisel gelişimleri, kendilerine ve gruba karşı güven duyabilmeleri, etik problemlerle yüzleşmeleri ve bu problemler karşısında strateji geliştirebilmeleri, bu 8 haftalık drama sürecinde ulaşılması beklenen diğer hedeflerden sadece bazılarıdır.Tezin üçüncü ve son bölümünde ise, çalışılan oyunun görüntüleri ve oyunda kullanılan şarkılar bir CD içerisinde sunulmaktadır. Ayrıca oyunun afişi, oyunun sahne fotoğrafları ve oyunun metni de bu son bölümde yer almaktadır.
In this thesis, in which the process of staging a theater play by using drama techniques with 12-13 year old children is being evaluated, some basic concepts of drama is introduced in the begenning. After the theoretical chapters ?The Description of Drama?, ?Dramatic Education?, The Benefits of Drama for the Individual?, ?Improvisation?, ?Creativity?, ?Theater with Children? and ?Evaluation of Drama from the aspect of 12-13 year old Growth Psychology?, in part one, the second part consists of evaluation of the process of staging the theater play named ?Umut Üşür Sokaklarda?. In this second part, the construction of an 8 week drama process and then the dramaturgic work (the subject, the theme, staging and the notes on the rehearsals) on the play is discussed.In this 8 week drama process the main aim is set to prepare the children to a state of being which is essential for the performance of the play. Moreover, the primary focus and aim is to get people to a level on stage who has no prior knowledge or experience on theater. Besides, the personal growth, self-esteem and self- actualization within the group, facing ethical problems and developing strategies to solve these problems are some of the aims to be accomplished.In the third and and the last part of the thesis, the video records of the theater play and the audio songs used in the play are given in a CD. The poster of the play, the photographs of the scenes and the text of the play is put in this last part.
