Tezin konusu; başlıktaki ifadesiyle "Benlik, İntihar ve Kolektif Narsisizm Bağlamında Kitle Psikolojisi"dir. Tez; psikolojinin en temel konularından olan benlik kavramı ile buna bağlı olarak benliğin yıkıcı biçimi olan narsisizm ve kitle psikolojisi boyutuyla kolektif narsisizm ve benliğin kökten yok oluşu ile sonuçlanan intihar olgusunu, kuramsal ve pratik tüm boyutlarıyla incelenmeyi ve bu konularda yapılan bilimsel çalışmaları araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Tez; benlik (benlik çeşitleri, toplumsal benlik araştırmaları), intihar (ölmek, öldürmek, intihar etmek), kolektif narsisizm (bireysel ve kolektif boyutları, toplumsal itaat ve karşı çıkma davranışı, grup ve sürü davranışları) ile bu konulardaki kuramlar, araştırmalar ile sonuç ve değerlendirme bölümlerini kapsamaktadır. The theme of the dissertation; in the title "Mass Psychology In The Context of Self, Suicide and Collective Narcissism". The aim of this study is to investigate the concept of self, which is one of the most basic subjects of psychology, and the suicide phenomena resulting from the radical disappearance of collective narcissism and myth from the dimension of narcissism and mass psychology, which is the destructive form of the self, and to investigate the scientific studies done in these theoretical and practical aspects. The thesis contains self (types of self, social self-researches), suicide (die, kill, commit suicide), collective narcissism (individual and collective dimensions, social obedience and opposing behavior, group and herd behavior) and these theories, researches, results and evaluation sections in these topics. Key Words: Self, Suicide, Collective Narcissism, Mass Psychology.
