Ulus-devletleşme sürecinin bir parçası olarak, 1923 yılında kurulan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti'nin kurucu ideolojisi Kemalizm olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Tek parti döneminde baskın bir kurucu ideoloji gözlemlenmiş, çok partili hayata geçişle birlikte muhalif sesler de artmaya başlamıştır. Ancak kurucu ideolojinin, 12 Eylül döneminin Atatürkçülük restorasyonu çabası karşısında, yeniden formüle edilmesi ideolojinin temellerini de sarstığı düşünülen olaylar neticesinde gelişmiş ve kurucu ideolojiye sivil bir ?destek? arayışı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu amaçla kurulmuş ilk oluşumlardan biri de Atatürkçü Düşünce Derneği(ADD) olmuştur.Bu çalışmada, öncelikle teorik bağlamda sivil toplum kavramı tartışmaları ve Türkiye'de sivil toplumun durumu ele alınmış, sonrasında 90'lı yıllarda ortaya çıkan ve mevcut yapısıyla etkisi artan Neo-Kemalizm üzerinde durulmuş ve neticesinde de Kemalist ideoloji bağlamında değerlendirilen Atatürkçü Düşünce Derneği'nin, resmi ideolojinin ne derecede ?sivil? destekçisi olduğu incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda da dernek süreli yayınları değerlendirilerek, söylem ve pratik arasındaki tutarlılık ya da tutarsızlıklar ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Amaç, bu bağlamda kurucu ideolojinin ?sivil? alana dahil edilebilip, içselleştirilebilme kapasitesini ve durumunu ortaya koymaktır.
As a part of being State-Nation process, Turkish Republic?s, which has been found in 1923, founder ideology is identifying as Kemalism. At the single-party process it had been seen that the founder ideology was quite dominant but when the multiparty process began, the opponent voices began to rise. But as an opponent movement towards the 12 September restoration, the reformulation of the founder ideology improved with the occassions about the movements that affect the ideology?s basis, so for this reason searching for a ?civil? support for the ideology began to rise. So, The Ataturkist Thought Association is one of the first organism that support this purpose.In this case, firstly civil society term debates and the civil society in Turkey is dealed. Then the Neo-Kemalist ideology, which has been appeared in the 1990s, is dealed and as a result The Ataturkist Thought Association is evaluated with the Kemalist perpective and trying to understand how grade is this to support the founder ideology as a ?civil? foundation. For this purpose, trying to expose the consistencies and inconsistencies between the rhetoric and the practice, with qualifying periodical editions of the foundation. The aim is to exhibit the situation and the capacity if the founder ideology can be build in ?civil? area or if it can be internalize.
