Bu tezin temel amacı, bir örnek olay çalısması olarak seçilen kalite belgesialmıs vakıf bir hastanesinde gelistirilen standart halkla iliskiler isleyis prosedürüanlatılarak, hastanelerde halkla iliskilerin yeri ve önemini vurgulamaktır.Söz konusu amaçla seçilen hastanede gelistirilen halkla iliskiler isleyisprosedürü, belgelendirme öncesi hastanenin halkla iliskiler isleyisiylekarsılastırılmıstır.Sonucun, hastanede standart bir halkla iliskiler isleyis prosedürününgelistirilmesiyle, kuruma sagladıgı yararların, hastanelerde halkla iliskilerin yeri veönemi konusunda mevcut belirsizliklere ısık tutabilecegi ve bu konuda çalısmayapmak isteyen hastanelere yol gösterebilecegi düsünülmektedir.
The main purpose of this thesis is, in order to stressed out the impotance of thepublic relations in the hospıtals, a direct event study has been choosen in a qualitycertificated pious hospital, in whic a standart public relations system is developed.The public relations process procedure, developed in the subject hospital iscompared with the public relations process before certification.That the association provided, by development of a standart public relationsprocess in a hospital, it will be enlightened the present uncertainity of the importanceof the public relations in the hospitals, and will be guided to the hospitals that want tomake study on this issue.
