Fen ve teknoloji, genellikle öğrencilerin olumsuz tutum ve ön yargı oluşturabildikleri bir disiplindir. Bu bağlamda fen ve teknoloji dersini daha eğlenceli ve ilgi çekici hale getirmenin, öğrencilerin derse olan motivasyonunu, tutumunu ve katılımını etkileyebileceği söylenebilir. Bunu sağlayabilecek olan alternatif yöntem ve tekniklerinden olan Moodle Destekli Öğretimdir.
Bu amaçla araştırma konusu; "İlköğretim 7. sınıf öğrencilerinde fen ve teknoloji dersi insan ve çevre ünitesinin işlenmesinde Moodle Destekli Öğretimin öğrencilerin akademik başarısına katkısı" olarak belirlenmiştir.
Bu çalışma ile çağımız problemlerinin ilk sıralarında gelen teknolojinin gelişmesinin bilinçsiz kullanılmasından doğan özellikle öğrenciler ders çalışmayı olumsuz etkileyen faktörlerin olumlu hale getirilerek teknolojik imkânları verimli ve bilinçli kullanarak öğrencilerin başarılarına katkı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır.
Bu çalışmada, Moodle (web tabanlı), bilgisayar ve internet destekli eğitim yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu yöntem, öğrencilerin ilgi duydukları teknolojik imkânlardan faydalanılarak öğretimin niteliğini artırmak amcıyla kullanılmıştır.
Yüz yüze eğitimin yetersiz kaldığı durumlarda web desteğini kullanmak, eğitimin kalitesini artırmakla kalmayıp, öğrenci başarılarına da katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu amaçla kullanılan açık kaynak kodlu ücretsiz bir uzaktan eğitim yazılımı olan Moodle, öğretimde birçok yenilik ve kolaylık sağlamaktadır. Moodle kullanılarak yürütülen Web Destekli bu eğitim çalışması Hakkâri Merkezde bir Ortaokulun 7. sınıf öğrencileri ile yapılmıştır.
Bu çalışma 2 aşamada gerçekleşmiştir. Çalışmanın 1. aşamasında ünite anlatılmadan önce, deney grubu ve kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere öntest uygulanmıştır. 2. aşamada ise tüm öğrencilere okuldaki örgün öğrenimleri sırasında ünite anlatılmış, bunun yanında deney grubu öğrencilerimize moodle destekli eğitim ile beraber ünite ile ilgili 6 ders saatini alacak şekilde (6 x 40: 240 dk'lık) bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın sonunda tüm öğrencilerimize aynı ünite ile ilgili öntestte yapılan sorular tekrar sorularak sontest uygulaması yapılmıştır.
Ünite, henüz işlenmeden önce öntest, her iki grubumuza yapılmıştır. Kontrol grubundaki öğrenciler ile deney grubundaki öğrencilerin sadece okuldaki öğrenimleri ortak olmuş, kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerin okul dışındaki ders çalışma durumlarına müdahele edilmemiştir. Deney grubumuzdaki öğrencilere ise okuldaki eğitimleriyle beraber moodle destekli uzaktan eğitim sistemi yardımıyla senkron (eşzamanlı) olarak eğitim verilmiştir.
Öğrencilere sistem üzerinden üniteyle ilgili video seyrettirilmiştir. Etkinlikler yapılmıştır. Çoktan seçmeli sorular sorulmuş, tartışma sorusu sorulup tartışma yaptırılmıştır.
Ünitenin bitiminde, yapılan web (moodle) destekli eğitim ile ilgili öğrenci görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanan veriler betimsel analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Öğrenciler genel olarak (moodle) Web Destekli Eğitimde zaman ve yer sınırlamasının olmamasını, çalışma çevresini kendilerine göre düzenlemelerini, kendilerini web ortamında daha rahat hissetmelerini, not alma sorununun ortadan kalkmasını, daha iyi motive olmalarını ve moodle'ın kullanım kolaylığını avantaj olarak görürken, öğrenci arkadaşları ve öğretmen ile iletişim güçlüklerini, bilgisayar ve internet yoksunluğunda dersi takip edememeyi, anında soru sorup dönüt alamamayı dezavantaj olarak görmektedirler.

Science and tecnology is a dicipline which students usually can have negative effect and prejude. This situation might be effect of student's intererst and activity on course and their success on course as well negatively. Therefore, it can be said that if lesson of science and technology can be made more funny and interesting that might cause on interest, activity and motivation of students against on lesson. One of the alternative way and technic to achieve this idea is education system which is supported Moodle.
In this purpose the topic of research is determined as the effect of student's academic success of the education system which is supported by the Moodle at ''primary education 7 th grade students on lesson of science and tecnology and implementing environment subject ''
It is aimed that the negative factors which is come out from unconscious use of technology, its one of ciritical problem our age, specially the factors that effect negatively of student's study activity is aimed change this stiutaion to make this negative factors to positive and use the technological ways usefull and consciously and effects student's success.
Moodle (web-based) use education system which is supoorted by computer and internet. By this system the technological facility which is students have desire was used in order to increase the quality of education.
Using web support when face to face training is insufficent is not only increase the quality of education but also contribute to student's success. With this purpose the distance education software with open source for free which is called as Moodle provide many innovation and convenience in education. The web supported educaiton study which is done by using Moodle was composed on Hakkari Center Gazi middle school 7 th grade students
In 1st stage before unit was told, pretest was implemented to students who they are in experimental group and control group in 2st stage units were described to all students in their formal education and also were studied education supported Moodle to experimential group students with together cover 6 lesson hours about unit (6*40.240 min) , in the end of this study questions which were asked to all our students were asked again and were implemented last exam practice. pretest was made to our both group before the unit is described. Students who are in control group and expreiment had comnmon edcutaion life in school, there were no intervention to their study at outside of school. both formal education and distance education system were implemented to Students who are in experimental group simultaneous via supported by Moodle.
Video was showed to students about unit on system. activities was made, multiple-choice questions was asked and dıscussed.
End of unit were consulted to students opinion about was made web supported (Moodle) education system data which is collected were analyzed with descriptive analysis technique by using semi-structured form. Students saw generally that in (moodle) web supported education, absence of time and place limitaion, regulate the working environment as their interest, feel theirselves in Internet environment, abolish taking notes issue, and be better motivated and ease of using Moodle as advantage, the comminiacation problems in system beetween students to students and students to their teacher, when computer and internet not exist is not possible to follow lesson and have quick question and respond problems are disadvantage.
