12 Mart 1971 Muhtırası, Türkiye tarihinin en önemli siyasi olaylarından biridir. Bu muhtıra ve ardından gelen sıkıyönetim özellikle toplumun sol ideolojiye bağlı kesimlerine yönelik zorlu bir süreci başlatmıştır. Toplumu derinden etkileyen 12 Mart Muhtırası hikâyelere de yansımış, edebiyatımızda özellikle toplumcu gerçekçi sanat anlayışına bağlı yazarlar tarafından konu edinilmiştir. Bu tezde, 1970-1980 yılları arasında yayımlanan hikâyeler, toplumcu gerçekçi sanat anlayışı bağlamında incelenmiştir. 12 Mart Muhtırası'nın etkilerini doğrudan yansıtan hikâyelerle 1970'li yıllarda sol hareketin gündemi içinde yer alan siyasi, sosyal ve ekonomik sorunları konu edinen hikâyeler muhteva açısından ortak başlıklar altında toplanarak, benzer veya farklı özellikleri vurgulanarak ve genel değerlendirmeler yapılarak ele alınmıştır. Bu amaçla, teze konu olan hikâyeler, 1970 ve 1980 arası yazılmış hikâyelerle sınırlandırılmış; 1970'te başlayıp 1980 Askerî Darbesi ile kapanan on yıllık dönem, toplumcu gerçekçi Türk hikâyeciliği açısından bütüncül bir yaklaşımla değerlendirilmek istenmiştir. March 12, 1971 Memorandum is one of the most important political events of Turkey's history. This memorandum and the following martial law started a difficult process related to the groups who are connected especially to the left ideology in the society. March 12 Memorandum which influenced deeply the society were reflected on the stories, it was entreated by the authors who are connected especially to the socialist realist sense of art in our literature. In this thesis, the stories which were published between 1970-1980 were examined in the context of the socialist realist sense in the art. The stories which mentioned the political, social and economic problems which were included in the left act's agenda in 1970's were considered with the stories which reflected directly the effects of March 12 Memorandum as they were collected under a common titles in terms of the content, as their similar or different properties were emphasized and the general evaluations were done. With this purpose, the stories which were subject to the thesis were restricted with the stories which were written between 1970 and 1980; the decennium which started in 1970 and ended with 1980 Military Coup were demanded to be evaluated with an integrative approach in terms of the socialist realist Turkish storytelling.
