öz STAJYER BEDEN EĞİTİMİ ÖĞRETMENLERİNE İLİŞKİN BİR ÇALIŞMA: STAJYERLİK PROGRAMI, REHBER ÖĞRETMEN VE KARŞILAŞILAN PROBLEMLER BİZATİ, Özcan Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Dr. Şeref ÇİÇEK Ocak 2001, 107 sayfa Bu çalışma stajyer beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin mesleklerinin ilk yılında stajyerlik programlarını ve karşılaştıkları problemleri analiz etmek için yapılmıştır. Karşılaştıkları problemler ve bulunan çözüm yolları ve rehber öğretmen, stajyer öğretmen ilişkisi bu çalışmanın odağını oluşturmaktadır. 1998 yılında Ankara ili merkez ve ilçelerindeki ilköğretim ve orta öğretim okullarına ilk kez atanan 71 stajyer beden eğitimi öğretmeni bu çalışmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. vıBu çalışmada veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ve geçerliliği (r=0,79) çalışılan bir anket yoluyla toplanmıştır. Çalışma anketi stajyer beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin algılarına göre rehber öğretmenleri ile olan ilişki, karşılaştıkları problemler ve bu problemlerin çözümünde rehber öğretmen, müdür, lisans eğitimi, stajyerlik kursları ve diğer okulun beden eğitimi öğretmeninden aldıkları yardım derecelerinin araştırılması amacıyla geliştirilmiştir. Beden eğitimi öğretmenlerine yönelik stajyerlik programlarının etkinliğinin stajyer öğretmenlerin ağır dersi yükü ve çok fazla ders dışı sorumlulukları olması sebepleriyle az olduğu görülmektedir. Rehber öğretmenlerin çoğunun beden eğitimi alanı dışından olması özellikle eğitim- öğ retim ile ilgili yeterli yardım ve desteğin sağlanmasını azaltmaktadır. Stajyer beden eğitimi öğretmenleri rehber öğretmenlerinden yeterli desteği almıyor gözükmektedirler. Stajyer beden eğitimi öğretmenleri eğitim ve öğretimle ilgili karşılaştıkları problemlerde rehber öğretmenleri yerine diğer okulun beden eğitimi öğretmeni başvurmaktadırlar. Müdürlerin de kendilerine sağladıkları yardım düzeyinin de az olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. İdari konulara ve yasa ve yönetmeliklere ilişkin karşılaşılan problemlerin çözümünde alınan stajyerlik kurslarının (Temel Eğitim Programı ve Hazırlayıcı Eğitim Programı) çok etkili olduğu belirtilmiştir. vııBu çalışmanın sonuçlan beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin stajyerlik dönemlerine ilişkin gerçekleri ve bazı problemleri ortaya koymuştur. Bu çalışma ayrıca stajyerlik programlarının öğretmen yetiştirilmesinden sorumlu herkesin, diğer okulun beden eğitimi öğretmeni de dahil, bu programlarda yer almasının önemini göstermiştir. ABSTRACT A STUDY OF INDUCTIVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS: INDUCTION PROGRAM, MENTOR AND PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BİZATİ, özcan M.S. in Physical Education and Sports Supervisor: Dr. Şeref ÇİÇEK January 2001, 107 pages This study was conducted to analyze the induction programs and the problems of the inductive physical education teachers during their first year of teaching. The focus is on their encountered problems and the way of finding solutions, and the inductive teacher relationship with the mentor. 71 inductive physical education teachers assigned to teaching profession first time in 1998 from the primary and secondary schools in province. and sub-province of Ankara were participated in this study. mIn this study, data were collected through a questionnaire, which was designed and validated by the researcher (r=0.79). The questionnaire was designed to explore inductive physical education teachers' perceptions of relationship with the mentor, degree of problems encountered, and degree of help provided by the mentor, the principal, the pre-service education, other schools' physical education teacher, and induction training courses. Induction programs for physical education teachers seemed to be less effective because of heavy course load, and too much extracurricular responsibilities of inductive teachers. Assignment of the mentors from other fields decrease the degree of help and support provided by the mentor teachers especially related to teaching-learning activities. Inductive teachers did not get enough support and help from their mentor. Instead of their mentor they applied to other school physical education teachers for many problems encountered during teaching-learning activities. The degree of help provided by the principals was reported as very little. Induction training courses (Basic Training Program and Preparatory Training Program) were indicated very effective in terms of providing help for the administrative problems and the laws and the problems related to regulations. IVResults of this study presented realities and some problems of physical education teachers' induction programs. This study also indicates the importance of including all responsible sources to the teacher induction programs including other schools' PE teachers.
