öz Bu çalışmanın amacı, eğitim-öğretim alanındaki gelişmeler ve değişimler ışığında, ezberci eğitimin zararlarının tartışıldığı şu günlerde etkili bir ilköğretim Türkçe dersi kitabında metinlerin; konu türü, konu alam, dili kullanımı, alıştırmalar ve görsellik bağlanımda, öğrencilerin ilgi, gereksinim ve hedefleri açısından nasıl olması gerektiği üzerinedir. Bu çalışmamızdaki görüşlerin önemli dayanaklarından biri de çağdaş eğitimin bir gereği olan öğrenci merkezli bir eğitim anlayışı noktasında yaptığımız öğrenci anketi ve bu anket değerlendirmesinin bizi götürdüğü sonuçlardır. Çalışmamızın sonunda, metinlerin işleniş süreci ile ilgili örnek bir uygulama da yer almaktadır.
ABSTRACT This study aims at identifying how the texts in an efficient Turkish Language Course Book should be in these. days in which the disadvantages of a memory-based education are discussed under the lights of new changes and developments in the field of education. These texts are analysed in terms of students' interests, needs and aims under the contexts of the type of the topic, field of the topic, language use, exercises and visuality. Another fundemental of our beliefs in this study is the questionaire that we have given. Thus questionaire reflects the belief in learner-centred education and the results deriven from this questionaire. At the and of our study included a sample application model related to the utilizing process of the texts. iii
