"`Alımlama Estetigi' ilkelerinin Ernesto Sábato'nun El Túnel adlı yapıtındakavramsal uygulaması" baslıklı bu çalısma, Arjantinli yazar Ernesto Sábato'nun ElTúnel adlı yapıtını `Alımlama Estetigi Kuramı'nın parametrelerini temel alarakincelerken okur-metin iliskisi düzleminde okuru merkeze oturtarak okurun metinlesoru-yanıt iliskisi çerçevesinde metinden bulguladıklarını çözümleme yoluyla metninbütünsel anlamını ortaya koymayı erekler. El Túnel'de metnin, okurun etkinkatılımını gerekseyen anlatısal yapısı, okura metinle söylesisinde metnin sordugusorulara yanıt bulma ve metne soru yönlendirme konusunda gereksedigi metiniçigöstergeleri ve metinde yer alan açık/örtük baglantıları belirleme baglamında hareketetme olanagı saglar. Okur, metnin temel izlegi olan `Yirminci yüzyılda moderninsanın yalnızlıgını ve iletisimsizlik sorunsalını', metnin ilk okumayı izleyenokumalarındaki örtük baglantılarda aramayı gerekser. Bu amaçla okur, kuramınönerdigi, yazarın anlatıda dile getirmedigi `bos alanlar'ı, okuma düzeyine, ekinselortamına, bilgi birikimine ve beklenti çevrenine kosut bir okuma davranısı içindedoldurarak metinden tutarlı anlam bütününü elde eder.
The following study entitled "A conceptual application of the parameters of`Reception Aesthetics Theory? in El Túnel of Ernesto Sábato" aims to analyze theArgentinian writer Ernesto Sabato's novel El Túnel within the parameters ofReception Aesthetics Theory at the level of reader/text relationship, placing thereader in a central position, and analyzing the findings of his/her interrogations of thetext, thereby revealing the overall meaning of the text. The narrative structure of ElTúnel which calls for the active participation of the reader provides the reader withthe opportunity of finding answers to the questions he/she asks of the text, and withthe textual signs he/she needs in order to answer the questions asked by the text andto direct questions to the text itself, as well as with the freedom of movementenabling him/her to specify the relation between the latent and manifest meaningswithin the text.The reader expects to discover the central meaning of the text, 'theproblem of lack of communication and isolation of the human subject in the 20thcentury? in his/her search for the latent meaning relations that emerge in the readingsof the text subsequent to the first one. To this end the reader fills in the empty spacesin the narrative, with a reading strategy corresponding to his/her level of learning,cultural background, horizon of expectations, and is able to capture a coherent totalmeaning of the text.
