In this thesis, the economic, social and administrative situation of Karaman Province was tried to be learned by transcribing the 150-290. pages of the Karaman Ahkâm Book No. 2, and it was aimed to obtain information about the XVIII. century. The study consists of an introduction and two parts. In the introduction, the political situation of the Ottoman Empire in the XVI-XVIII. century was discussed, and the events that caused the decline of the empire from the rise period were emphasized. In the first part, the Dîvân-ı Hümâyûn notebooks were observed by giving information about the Dîvân-ı Hümâyûn, where the complaints of the society were discussed and resolved. One of these notebooks, Ahkâm Notebooks, was explained, and the Karaman Ahkâm Notebook No. 2 was examined in terms of form and content. Again, in this section, information about the sanjaks whose names were mentioned in the book was given, and the section was ended by mentioning the place names. In the second part, there is the transcription of the notebook (p.150-290). Except from these sections, there is the conclusion part and the bibliography. |
