Bu çalışmada alopesi areata tanış erkek hastaların ruhsal süreçlerinin, baba oğul ilişkisinin, pre-ödipal baba tasarımlarının, depresif duygulanımlarının psikanalitik kuram çerçevesinde incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Türkiye'de alopesi areata tanısı almış kişilerin üzerindeki psikolojik etkilerini inceleyen araştırmalar yapılmış olsa da bu hastaların ruhsal süreçlerini psikanalitik ve psikosomatik kuram ışığında inceleyen çalışmalar oldukça kısıtlıdır. Deri hastalıkları ile psikolojik süreçler arasında ilişki olduğunu gösteren yabancı kaynaklı çalışmalar mevcuttur. Bu çalışmada alopesi areata tanısı almış 14 erkek katılımcı ile önce psikanalitik temelli yapı-yapılandırılmış bir öngörüşme yapılmış, ardından da katılımcılara Rorschach ve TAT testi uygulanmıştır. Uygulama öncesinde katılımcılar çalışma hakkında bilgilendirilmiş ve onamları alınmıştır. Yapılan testlerin sonuçları Fransız Okulu'na özgü içerik analizi yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Yapılan içerik analizi sonucunda alopesi areata tanısı almış erkek hastalarda pre- ödipal dönemde babayla kurulan ilişkideki çatışmalara, özdeşim kurmakta yaşanan güçlüklere, depresif pozisyon ile başa çıkma kapasitelerindeki yetersizliklere gönderme yapan bulgular izlenmiştir. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the psychological processes, father and son relationship, pre-oedipal father image and depressive situations of male patients with alopecia areata within the framework of psychoanalytic theory. Although studies investigating psychological factors on alopecia areata have been conducted in Turkey, studies that examine the psychological processes of these patients in the light of psychoanalytic and psychosomatic theories are very limited. There are foreign studies showing that there is a psychological relationship with skin diseases. In this study, psychoanalytic based semi-structured interviews were conducted with 14 male participants with alopecia areata, after that Rorschach and TAT tests were applied to participants. Before the tests, the participants were informed about the study and their consent was taken. The results of the projective tests were evaluated by content analysis specific to the French School interpreted by the help of psychoanalytical theory. The result of the content analysis showed existence of conflicts established with the father in the pre-oedipal period, difficulties in identification and inability to cope with depressive affect were observed in the male patients with alopecia areata.
