1 958 Moratoryumu 1958 Moratoryumu başlığı altında tasarlanan bu çalışma, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin DP (Demokrat Parti) iktidarı altında geçirdiği dönemi ele almaktadır. Çalışmada 1950 - 1960 yıllan arasını kapsayan bu dönem, daha çok, ekonomik gelişmeler ışığında irdelenmiş ve bu dönem içinde önemli bir kırılma noktasını temsil eden "1958 Moratoryumu" bir sembol olarak incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, ekonomik gelişmeler ele alınırken, bu gelişmelerin siyasal gelişmelerle de ilgisinin kurulmasına özen gösterilmiş; incelenen dönemin, önceden ve sonradan soyutlanarak değil, özellikle öncesi gösterilerek anlatılmasına dikkat edilmiştir.
The 1958 Moratorium This study titled The 1958 Moratorium examines the DP (Democrat Party) rule in the Turkish Republic encompassing the years between 1 950 and 1 960. The period is analyzed primarily from the focus of economic developments and the moratorium of 1958 is addressed as the epithomy of the era both as a strong symbol and as an event marking an important turn in history, influencing the socio-political and socio economic dynamics of the Republic. As is the case with all such ground breaking events, the Moratorium of 1958 is observed within the context of both the developments preparing it and its aftermath. Such an approach, it is believed, provides the opportunity to link the political events of the era with the economic processes interacting with them. m
