Molla Fenari'nin Aynu'l-Ayan isimli Fatiha Tefsiri Mukaddimesi'nin tahlil edildigi bu tezin ilk bölümünde, Fenari'nin hayatı, eserleri, islam düsünce gelenegindeki yeri ele alınmıs ve daha sonra Fenari öncesi tefsir literatürüne kısaca yer verilerek, Aynu'l-Ayan Mukaddimesi'nin bu tefsir çalısmaları içerisinde nerede durdugu sorusuna cevap aranmıstır. Tezin aslını olusturan ikinci bölümün ilk kısmında ise, Aynu'l-Ayan tefsiri ve Mukaddimesi ana hatları ile tanıtılmıs ve Mukaddime'nin sistematigi ve teorik arka planı ortaya konulmustur. Bu bölümün son kısmında, Aynu'l-Ayan Mukaddimesi merkeze alınarak, Fenari'nin tefsir ilminin mahiyetine yönelik görüsleri tahlil edilmistir. Burada Fenari'nin tefsir ilmine iliskin görüsleri tartısılırken, Fenari'nin diger eserleri ve beslendigi düsünce gelenekleri içerisinde verilen eserlere basvurmak suretiyle farklı konulara temas edilmis ve böylelikle onun yorum anlayısı açıga çıkartılmaya çalısılmıstır. Sonuç itibariyle bu tezde, Fenari'nin varlık, düsünce ve dil anlayısı çerçevesinde sekillenen yorum anlayısı sorusturulmus ve onun tefsir ilminin mahiyeti nedir sorusuna verdigi cevap bir kompozisyon içerisinde ifade edilmeye çalısılmıstır.
This first section of the thesis in which Molla Fanari?s Preface for Fatiha Commentary, named as Aynu?l-Ayan, is analyzed focuses on the life of Fanari, his works and books, his place and importance for the tradition of Islamic thought. Additionally, commentary literature before Fanari is reviwed and the question of where the place of Preface for Aynu?l-Ayan is in this commentary works is to be answered. The beginning part of the second section of the thesis, which is the most important one, manifests Molla Fanari?s Commentary Aynu?l-Ayan and its Preface, and also its systematic and theoretical background. The ending part of this section analyzes Fanari?s thoughts for the character/nature of the commentary science (ilm at-tafsîr) on the ground of Preface for Aynu?l-Ayan. At this point, having included other works of Fanari, his understanding of interpretation is exsposed by referring his other books and pointing at the works which belong to the thought traditions that Fanari is nourished. As a conclusion, this thesis simulatenously aims to convey what Fanari?s understanding of interpratation is on the base of his being, thought and language approach, and what Fanari?s answer is for the question on the character/nature of the ilm at-tafsîr.
