1970-1975 dönemi ilkokul öğrencilerinin eğitim deneyimlerini kapsayanbu çalışma, öğrencilerin anlatılarını merkez-çevre ve toplumsal cinsiyetçerçevesinde değerlendirmeyi hedeflemektedir. Bunu yaparken, habitus,hegemonya, ideoloji, egemen toplumsal ilişkilerin yeniden üretimi, kültürelbagaj, gizli müfredat gibi öğrencilerin eğitim deneyimlerini anlamamda veanaliz etmemde bana yardımcı olabilecek kavram ve söylemlerin anlatılarlakurulabilecek bağlantılarını ortaya koymaya çalışmaktayım.Tezin problem bölümü bir taraftan bazı çatışmacı ve eleştirelyaklaşımlardan kavramsal açıklamalar sunarken diğer taraftan da merkezçevreve toplumsal cinsiyet değişkenlerini kuramsal bir çerçeveye oturtmayaçalışmaktadır. Tezin konusu ve onu takiben 1970-1975 dönemi Türkiye'sininsiyasi, ekonomik, toplumsal, kültürel ve ilkokul eğitimine özgü değişim vegelişimleri sunulmaktadır. Çalışmanın odağını oluşturan bulgular bölümü,1970-1975 dönemi ilkokul öğrencilerinin eğitimlerine özgü anlatıları ve onlarailişkin değerlendirme ve çıkarımları içermektedir. Bu bulgular, öğrencilerinokuldaki eğitim pratiklerini, arkadaş ve öğretmenleriyle olan ilişkilerini, okulagittikleri ilk günlerini, okudukları dersleri, oynadıkları oyunları, yaşadıklarıdöneme özgü anı ve algılarını özgün anlatılarıyla sunmaktadır. Bu bulgulartemel iki değişken olan merkez-çevre ve toplumsal cinsiyet eksenindedeğerlendirilmektedir. Çalışmanın sonuç kısmında bulgular üzerindensöylenenlerin kısa bir değerlendirmesi yapılmaktadır. The study which covers the 1970-1975 period primary school students?educational experiences aims to evaluate their narrations by making use ofcenter-periphery and gender variables. While doing this, habitus, hegemony,ideology, reproduction of dominant social relations, cultural baggage, hiddencurriculum are taken into consideration and revealed as the possible helpingconcepts and discourses which let me understand and analyze their relationswith the narrations.The problem section of the thesis, on the one hand, displays someconceptual explanations from the conflict and critical approaches, on the otherhand, it tries to put the center-periphery and gender variables into aconceptual framework. Following the topic of the thesis, 1970-1975 periodTurkey?s political, economic, social, cultural and primary school educationaldevelopments and changes are presented.As the focus of the thesis, the findings section includes the derivationsand evaluations in relation with the 1970-1975 period primary school students?educational narrations. These findings show the students educationalpractices at school, their relations with their friends and teachers, their firstday at school, the subjects they had, the games they played, their memoriesand perceptions belonging to the period they lived in originally. These findingsare interpreted at the axises of center-periphery and gender variables. At theconclusion part, a short evaluation of the tales derived from the narrations isdone. Additionally, some examples of oral history interviews and interviews?stories are presented.Keywords: primary school education, oral history, educationalexperiences, history of education, history of childhood.
