Bu araştırma,Güroymak sevgi evinde ebeveyn kaybı yaşayan ergenlerin benlik saygısını incelemek yapılmıştır. araştırmanın örneklemini Güroymak sevgi evinde ki 12-18 yaş grubunda ki normal gelişim gösteren ilk öğretim ve lise öğrencilerinden 122 si kadın 140 erkek olmak üzere toplam 262 ergen oluşturmuştur. elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda yapılan çalışmada araştırmaya katılan ergenlerin benlik saygıları ile; cinsiyet eğitim durumu, ebeveyn kaybı ie benlik saygısı arasında anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur.
