ÖZET "Kemik Porselen Üretiminin İncelenmesi, Sanatsal Çalışmalarda Uygulanabilirliğinin Araştırılması ve Estetik Niteliklerinin Değerlendirilmesi" başlıklı çalışma raporu üç bölümden oluşmuştur. 'Kemik Porselen' başlıklı birinci bölümde, porselen ve kemik porselenin tanımı yapılmış, teknik özellikleri ve tarihçesi anlatılmış, kemik porselen hammaddeleri tanıtılmıştır. İkinci bölüm, endüstriyel kemik porselen üretimini fabrika işleyişi içinde anlatılmaktadır. Teknolojik boyutu incelenen kemik porselenin, çamur hazırlama, biçimlendirme ve pişirim olanakları örneklenmiştir Kemik porselenin sanatsal nitelikleri, bu konuda çalışan sanatçıların sanatsal uygulamaları ile açıklanmıştır. Deneysel ve sanatsal uygulamalar bölümünde, kemik porselenin karakteristik teknolojik ve estetik niteliklerini taşıyan bünyeyi hazırlamaya yönelik deneyler yapılmıştır. Bu bölümde, sanatsal amaçlar doğrultusunda biçimlendirme ve pişirim koşullan araştırılmış ve elde edilen veriler sonuç kısmında sunulmuştur. Sanatsal uygulamalara yönelik estetik araştırmalar sonucunda, sanatsal kemik porselen uygulamalar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında yapılan teknolojik ve estetik araştırmalar, elde edilen veriler ve yapılan uygulamalar sonuç bölümünde değerlendirilmiştir.
Ill SUMMARY This study report, namely " A Study on the Production of Bone China, the Investigation of its Artistic Applications and the Evaluation of its Aesthetic Qualities" comprises of three chapters. The first chapter titled as "Bone China" includes some definitions concerning porcelain and bone china, along with their technical properties and historical development. Besides,in this chapter, some raw materials of bone china have been introduced. The second chapter concerns with the industrial production of bone china within factory processing. Apart from the investigation of the technological aspects of bone china, this chapter presents examples of such processes such as clay preparation and shaping and firing conditions. Moreover, artistic properties of bone china have been dealt with through the artistic applications of some artists. In the third chapter involving experimental and artistic applications, some experiments have been dwelled on concerning the preparation of the body which exhibits the characteristic, technological and aesthetic properties of bone china. This chapter also provides an investigation on shaping and firing conditions of bone china from an artistic point of view and the data provided have been presented in the "Result" section. Furthermore, some artistic works of bone china have been created in the light of investigations concerning the aesthetical and artistic applications. All the technological and aesthetic investigations and the data provided have been evaluated in the final section along with the artistic bone china works.
