Modern Türk edebiyatının kilometre taşlarından biri olarak Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar'ı edebiyat tarihi içerisinde özgün kılan yönlerinden biri eserleri ve estetiğinin felsefi ve psikolojik derinliği/zenginliğidir. Edebiyat çalışmaları süresince birçok önemli sanat ve düşünce kuramıyla etkileşime giren ve buralardan edindiği birikimi içselleştirerek eserlerine yansıtan Tanpınar'ın şiir ve sanat anlayışında bu bakımdan önemli bir etkiye sahip olan isimlerden biri de Fransız filozof Henri Bergson'dur.Bu çalışmada Bergson felsefesinin Tanpınar'ın eserleri ve estetiğindeki izdüşümlerinin yanı sıra üstlendiği kurucu rol zaman, oluş, ben, bilinç, bellek ve rüya gibi temalar etrafında ve edebiyat-felsefe ilişkisi bağlamında incelenecektir. Birinci ve ikinci bölümlerde genel hatlarıyla Bergson felsefesine ve onun Türkiye'deki ilk yankılarına değinildikten sonra üçüncü ve dördüncü bölümlerde Tanpınar'ın metinleri üzerindeki çözümlemeler ortaya konulacaktır.
Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, as one of the milestones of Modern Turkish Literature is unique with the philosophical and psychological sophistication of his works and aesthetics in the history of literature. Henri Bergson, a French philosopher, has a significant influence on the sense of poetry and art of Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar who in the course of his literary works, interacts with substantial theories of art and thought and internalizing this accumulation, reflects it on his works.In this study, the projections of the philosophy of Bergson in the works and aesthetics of Tanpınar and its founding role will be analysed within the framework of time, evolution, personality, conscious, memory and dream and in the context of the relationship between literature and philosophy. In the first and second chapters, the philosophy of Bergson and its first consequential effects in Turkey will be dealt with in general terms. Afterwards, in chapter three and four, the decoding of the texts of Tanpınar will be stated.
