Bu tez çalışmasında, tarihi köprü restorasyon çalışmalarının köprülerin yapısal davranışına etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, seçilen kemer köprünün restorasyon öncesi ve sonrası durumları için analizler yapılarak restorasyon etkilerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tez çalışması dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde tarihi yapıların öneminden bahsedilerek, bu yapıların korunmasının gerekliliği vurgulanmıştır. Daha sonra yığma kemer köprülerle ilgili yapılan çalışmalardan bahsedilmiştir. Akabinde kemer köprüler hakkında genel bilgiler verilerek, kısa tarihçesine değinilmektedir. Bölümün son kısmında sonlu eleman yöntemi ve deprem analizleri için gerekli formülasyonlar verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde yapılan çalışmalara yer verilmektedir. Seçilen köprü hakkında detaylı bilgi verildikten sonra restorasyon öncesi ve sonrası; kendi ağırlığında, kendi ağırlığı ve hareketli yükler, kendi ağırlığı-hareketli yükler ve deprem yükleri analizlerine ait sonuçlar kontur diagramları yardımıyla verilmektedir. Daha sonra tüm sonuçlar tablolar ile verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar ve öneriler maddeler halinde sunulmaktadır. Son bölümde yararlanılan kaynaklar belirtilmiştir. Çalışma sonunda, tarihi kemer köprü restorasyon çalışmalarının köprülerin yapısal davranışına olumlu yönde etki ettiği belirlenmiş olup, restorasyon çalışmalarının gerekliliği ortaya konulmuştur.
In this thesis, restoration works effect on historical bridges is investigated. For this purpose, chosen arch bridge is analyzed for before and after restoration case and with these analyses it is aimed to investigate the effect of the restoration. The thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, by mentioning the importance of the historical structures it has emphasized the necessity of protection of these structures. Then the studies which have been made before, are related to the masonry arch bridges are mentioned. After that general information about masonry arch bridges is given and short history of masonry arch bridges is addressed. In the last part of the section, required formulations are provided for the finite element method and seismic analysis. Studies which are made within the thesis are taken place in the second part. After detailed information about chosen bridge were given, the results of dead load, dead and live loads, dead-live and earthquake loads analyses for before and after restoration case are given with contour diagrams. Then whole results are given with tables. In the third section, the results and suggestions which are obtained from study are listed. In the last chapter, it is given sources benefited and suggestions. As a result of the study, it is pointed out that restoration of historical arch bridges effect the structural behavior of the bridges positively and the necessity of restoration works is demonstrated.
