In this study, it was examined that Garib-nâme, one of the 14th century works, which is Aşık Paşa's work that composed of 10.613 couplet. In this review, the 10 chapters and their subsections that making up the work, have been handled according to the Propp method, without decaying its originality. The result is a schema of each of the 99 stories that emerged. By establishing a bond between all emerging schemes; classification of Garib-nâme stories, the common themes between the stories and the narrative methods which processed was determined within the framework of the whole work.
In the first chapter, the life of Aşık Paşa and his works and especially the Garib-nâme was emphasized.
In the second chapter, the stories that making up the work was storificated according to the Propp method and the subject scheme of each story was added to it's end.
In the third chapter, by examining the emerged schemes, classification of the story and the ties between the subjects was revealed.
With this thesis, it is aimed that to reveal the systematics which was hidden between the sections and which was expanding in each section of Garib-nâme, which has a great place in our literature, and to be an auxiliary resource for language and literature readers working in the field of Turkish Language and Literature by becoming more concrete. |
