ÖZET Bu tez, h.1315 (m. 1897/1898) yılına ait Giresun Kazası, Şer'iye Sicilleri koleksiyonu içinde yer alan, 1431 no'lu defterin, transkripsiyon ve değerlendirilmesini ihtiva etmektedir. Defter, bir yıllık dönemde, Giresun Kazası Şer'iye Mahkemesine intikal etmiş, muhtelif dâvalar ve bunlar hakkında verilmiş kararları içermektedir. Defterde; genellikle miras, alacak-verecek, evlenme-boşanma, nafaka gibi konular ağırlıklı olarak yer almaktadır. 19. yüzyıl sonlarında bir Anadolu Kazasında, ekonomik ve sosyal hayatın izlerini görmenin yanında, Giresun ve havalisi'nin tarihinden de önemli kesitler görmek mümkündür. ABSTRACT This thesis contains transcript and evaluation of the Register Which number is 1431 that belongs to subdivision of Giresun according to the Gregorian calender 1897/1898 in Register collections. The Register holds different lawsvits and decision about the lawsvits Which transferred to the subdivision of Giresun Register Court during a year. The Register mainly includes about the folloving topics; inheritance, credit- debit, marriage-divorce, livelihood. Besides to be aware of evicendes of economic and social life in a Anatolian subdivision of a province in the late of 19 th century, it is possible to learn important cross-sections about Giresun and environs.
