Bu çalışma miras alanlarının korunması konusunda oluşan problemlere değinerek çözüm metotları bulmaya odaklanmaktadır. Ana teması UNESCO miras alanlarının kentsel koruma bağlamında "nasıl korumalıyız?" sorusuna yanıt aramak için, kavramsal ve kuramsal çerçeve oluşturulmakta, Türkiye'de olan mevcut durum incelenmekte ve örneklem alanı olarak seçilen Antalya ili bu kapsamda detaylı olarak irdelenmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı koruma sorunlarından yola çıkarak UNESCO Dünya Miras Alanları'nın kentsel koruma bağlamında bütünleşik bir planlama yaklaşımı olan "Tarihi Kentsel Peyzaj (HUL)" kavramının bir planlama aracı olarak kentsel planlamaya dahil edilmesini değerlendirmektir. Araştırmanın hedefleri ise, Kentsel koruma kavramını irdeleyerek, UNESCO Dünya Miras Alanları'nı ve "Tarihi Kentsel Peyzaj (HUL)" kavramını tanımlayarak, çalışmanın kuramsal ve kavramsal altyapı oluşturmak; Türkiye'de koruma ve kentsel koruma konuları incelenerek Türkiye'nin UNESCO Dümya Miras Listesi'ndeki konumunu ortaya çıkarmak; Türkiye'de seçilen örneklem alanı özelinde oluşturulan kavramsal ve kuramsal çerçeve ışığında arazi kullanım verileri ve üst ölçek plan kararları üzerinden UNESCO Miras ve Geçici Miras Listesi Envanteri'ni değerlendirme yaparak "Tarihi Kentsel Peyzaj (HUL)" yaklaşımının uygulanabilirliğini değerlendirmek; Türkiye UNESCO Dünya Miras Alanlarının korunması konusunda "Tarihi Kentsel Peyzaj (HUL)" yaklaşımının uygulanabilirliğini örneklem alanı üzerinden deneysel kanıt sunarak değerlendirmektir. Tanımlanan amaç ve hedefler kapsamında "Türkiye'de UNESCO Miras ve Geçici Miras Listesi'nde yer alan alanların korunması konusunda "Tarihi Kentsel Peyzaj (HUL)" yaklaşımı uygulanabilir mi ve nasıl dahil edilebilir?" temel sorusuna yanıt aranmaktadır. Araştırmada kullanılan yöntem, tümdengelimci ve kavramsal bir yaklaşımla oluşturulan bir model sunmak ve hedefler doğrultusunda araştırma sorularını karma tekniklerle yanıtlamaya çalışmaktır. Karma teknikler olarak literatür çalışmaları, mekansal tespit, analiz ve uzaktan algılama programları ve görsel programlar olan ARCIS ve Photoshop kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak bilgi ve yöntem önerisi sunulmaktadır.
This work focuses on finding solutions to problems arising from the conservation of heritage sites. The main theme of the urban conservation context of the UNESCO heritage site "How do we protect?" To search for answers to the question, being created conceptual and theoretical framework, analyzes the situation existing in Turkey and selected Antalya province as the sample area are discussed in detail in this context. The purpose of the study is to assess the inclusion of the concept of "Historical Urban Landscape (HUL)" as an integrated planning approach in urban conservation context of UNESCO World Heritage Sites as a planning tool in the urban planning process. The objectives of the research are to examine the concept of urban conservation, to define the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the concept of "Historic Urban Landscape (HUL)", to establish the theoretical and conceptual background of the study; examining urban conservation and protection issues in Turkey to reveal the position of Turkey in the UNESCO Heritage List; selected sample area of the conceptual and theoretical framework of light created on private land usage data and a UNESCO Heritage Site and Temporary Heritage List over the upper scale planning decisions in Turkey inventory assessment doing "Historic Urban Landscape (HUL)" approach to evaluate the feasibility of; Turkey on the protection of UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historic Urban Landscape (HUL)" approach by providing experimental evidence to evaluate the feasibility of through the sample area. Defined goals and targets under the "Turkey in the conservation of the areas mentioned in the UNESCO Heritage Sites and Temporary Heritage List" Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) "is it feasible approach and can be included how?" Is to answer the basic questions. The method used in the research is to present a model constructed with a deductive and conceptual approach and try to answer the research questions with mixed techniques in the direction of the targets. Literature studies, spatial detection, analysis and remote sensing programs and visual programs such as ARCGIS and Photoshop were used as mixed techniques. As a result, information and method suggestions are presented.
