Bu araştırma; 2009- 2011 tarihleri arasında Manyas merkez ve sekiz köyünde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma Manyas ve köylerinde geleneksel olarak kullanılan bitkileri saptamak amacı ile yapılmıştır.Çalışma alanımız olan Manyas' ta 62 familyaya ait 173 bitki türü kaydedilmiştir. Bitkilere ait herbaryum örnekleri hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma esnasında 115 kaynak kişi ile görüşülmüş ve 97 ilk ve ortaöğretim öğrencisine anket uygulanmıştır. Arazi çalışmaları esnasında 612 tane fotoğraf çekilmiştir.Bitkilerin 80 taksonu halk tıbbı, 79 taksonu gıda, 36 takson hayvan yemi, 28 takson süs bitkisi, 17 takson el sanatları, 14 takson yakacak, 9 taksonu boya bitkisi olarak kullanılmaktadır. Ayrıca değişik alanlarda kullanıma sahip 19 takson kayıt altına alınmıştır.Çalışma kapsamında alanda gıda olarak tüketilen ve yerel pazarda satılan 4 mantar çeşidi ile ilgili verilerde kayıtlara eklenmiştir.ANAHTAR SÖZCÜKLER : etnobotanik / Manyas
This investigation was done in the eight villages and in the central of Manyas between 2009- 2011. The aim of the investigation was exploring and finding out the uses of the species plants in Manyas and it? s villages.173 kinds of plants were recorded at the end of this examine which belongs to 62 familias in Manyas. The speamens the plants were prepared. During this investigation some kind of questions were asked to the primary and elemantary schooll?s students and the ideas of the professions were used. 612 photos were taken during this land researches .80 taxa in common medical care, 79 taxa of the plants were used in food, 36 taxa in as an animal food, 28 taxa in potplants, 17 taxa in handmade works, 14 taxa were used for fire, 9 taxa were used for dye. At besides 19 taxa were recorded in using different kinds of uses.4 kind of mushrooms were added to records in the consist of this researches which used as a food and sold in commom bazaars.KEYWORDS : etnobotany / Manyas
