Yetenek seçiminde dikkat edilmesi gereken noktalardan birisi de hangi kriterlere göre seçim yapılarak ne tür branşlara çocukların yönlendirileceği konusudur. Yetenek araması yapılırken çocuklara uygulanan çeşitli test bataryaları ve değişkenler bulunmaktadır. Çocuklar bu değişkenlere göre test edilerek değerlendirmeye alınmakta ve iyi performans gösteren yetenekli çocuklar ayıklanmaktadır.Bu noktadan hareketle sportif ve atletik yeteneğin belirlenmesinde kullanılan çeşitli testlere göre Türk çocuklarının normlandırmasını yapmak, yetenek seçimi yapacak antrenör, spor elemanı vs. ye yol göstermek ve bu konuda yapılacak çalışmalara katkıda bulunmak için yapılan bu araştırma ile bölgesel anlamda da olsa Ankara'daki çocuklar üzerinde normlandırma çalışması yapılmıştır.Ölçümlerde; boy uzunluğu, vücut ağırlığı, kavrama kuvveti, esneklik, dikey sıçrama, durarak uzun atlama, durarak sağlık topu atışı, 20m. hız koşusu, 30 m. hız koşusu, 10 m. maksimal hız, 30 sn. ve 1 dk. mekik, 1.000 m. koş yürü testleri yapılmıştır.Ankara'daki yedi merkez ilçeye bağlı 11 ilk öğretim okulunda eğitim gören öğrencilerden 10-12 yaş grubunda olan 4-5-6 ncı sınıf öğrencilerden yaklaşık %2'si araştırma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Testler farklı sosyo-ekonomik bölgelerden hem devlet hem de özel okullardan öğrencilere uygulanmıştır. Yapılan testler sonucu teste tabi tutulmuş toplam 5.346 çocuktan; kriterlere uyan ve tüm testlere katılım gösteren toplam 4.080 çocuk değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Test ve ölçümler Aralık 2005- Eylül 2007 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır.Deneklerin incelenen değişkenlerinin ortalama, standart sapma ve yüzdelik değerleri, SPSS 15 for Windows istatistik programında hesaplanmıştır. Ölçüm sonuçlarının aritmetik ortalaması (X), standart sapması (SS) ve %1, 10, 25'lik değerleri tespit edilmiştir.Bu alanda yapılan özellikle ön testlerin çoğunun basit saha testlerinden oluşmasının yanında bu noktada antrenörün gözlemlerinin henüz en önemli bilgiyi sağladığı belirtilmekle birlikte, kendini bazı ortamlarda geri planda tutan ve gerçek performansını gösteremeyen bir sporcuya oranla normal değerlere sahip olan bir sporcu daha iyi performans gösterebilecektir. Bu durumda da unutulmaması gereken bu yaş grubu için testlerin tek başına bir şey ifade etmeyeceği, antrenörün gözleminin de objektif sonuçlar kadar önemli olduğudur.Anahtar Kelimeler : Yetenek Seçimi, adolesan, normlandırma, atletizm
One of the important point is the subject to divert the children on which events and the criteria of selection. Ther are lots of different test batteries and parameters in talent research. The children has been tested according to these parameters and which had a good performances has been selected.From that point using for the sportiv and athletic talent selection was aimed to normation tests for Turkish children. In this normation; trainers, sport stuffs or physical education teachers will make the talent selection for guiding and helping about those studies. It was normed interest in children who live in Ankara with this reserch.In the mesurements; height, weight, body mass indeks, hand grip, sit&reach test, vertical jump, standing long jump, medicine ball throw, 20m. sprint, 30 m. sprint, 10 m. deparlense run, 30 sec. and 1 min. abdominal, 1.000 m. run and walk have been tested.From the seven center towns in Ankara 11 primary school children between 10-12 ages have been tested. Approximately, %2 of this population were in the research group of study. During the normation, these tests have been made to children who are from different socio-economical places, studied in the private or goverment schools. The final of these tests, totally of 4.080 children from 5.346 who were matching to the criteria and all tests have been evaluated.The children parmeters of the mean, standart deviation and percentage values analized statistically the program of SPSS 15 for Windows. From the measurement results, it has been determined that the mean of the measurement, standart deviation, %1, 10 and 25th level of measurements. The comparision of the researches with other studies shows that the studies are approximately paralel in Turkey, but foreign countries have some differences in some parameters according to the research.Consist of this research have been made basic field tests. Observations of the trainer are the most important thing at this point. The children who can?t his/her performance, can be better than the children that have a good performance. In this case, at this age group only these tests are not meaningful, but observations of the trainer are important like the objective results.Key Words : Talent selection, adolescent, normation, athletics
