Bu çalısmada Tenedos sikkelerinin M.Ö. 550'den baslayarak Augustus Dönemi'nekadar uzanan gelisimi incelenmistir. Sonuca ulasmak için öncelikle bugüne kadarTenedos hakkında yayınlanmıs olan tüm kitaplar, süreli yayınlar, makaleler vemüzayedeleri içeren web siteleri taranmıstır. Çalısma, Tenedos Kentinin Tarihi,Tenedos'ta Sikke Basımı konulu iki ana baslık içermekte olup, ayrıca bugüne kadaryayınlanmıs tüm Tenedos sikkeleri bir katalog haline getirilmistir. Edinilen bulgularagöre kentin M.Ö. 550 yıllarında sikke basmaya baslamıs oldugu ve belli aralıklardakesintiye ugramıssa da Augustus Dönemi'ne kadar sikke basmaya devam ettigigörülmüstür.
The aim of this research was to discern the developments about the coinage of Tenedosfrom circa 550 B.C. to the last. All of the journals, periodicals, books and websites ?including auctions ? were searched to find related subjects. This study is classified underthree main titles: The History of Tenedos, Coinage of Tenedos and The Catalogue of theTenedian Coins. According to the findings the result is that the earliest coinage of theisland of Tenedos appears to extend from circa 550 B.C. and lasted in the period ofAugustus with some periodically cessations.
