Yetmişli yılların basın hayatının en çarpıcı süreli yayınlarından biri olan Töre dergisi, devrinde adından çok sık söz ettirmiştir. İdeolojik amaçlar doğrultusunda çıkarılmaya başlayan derginin bir de sanat ve edebiyat boyutu vardı ki yayımladığı edebî, fikrî ve günlük meselelere ait düşünce yazıları, yer verdiği kalem kavgaları bunun en açık göstergesidir. Milliyetçilik fikri yetmişli yılların hem fikir hem de hareket sahasında aktif olan fikir sistemlerinden biridir. Töre dergisinin muhtevası ve fikrî yönü bu fikir sistemi üzerine kuruludur. Siyasetten sanata dergide ele alınan konulara milliyetçi fikir sistemi bakış açısıyla yaklaşılmış meseleler bu fikir sistemi ekseninde aydınlatılmıştır.
Bu çalışmada öncelikle Töre dergisinin doğduğu ortam ve koşulları daha iyi ortaya koyabilmek için derginin ortaya çıktığı dönemin sosyal siyasal meselelerine değinilmiştir. Bunun hemen akabinde Türk basın tarihi kronolojik biçimde ele alınarak Türk basın hayatının gelişim süreci ve derginin Türk basın tarihindeki yeri genel bir çerçevede ifade edilmiştir. Çalışmanın esas bölümünü ise, Töre dergisinin biçim ve muhteva açısından incelenmesi kısmı oluşturmaktadır. İlk etapta biçimsel olarak ele alınan kısımda derginin dış görünümü ve iç düzenlemesi incelenerek tematik olarak belirtilmiştir. Derginin muhteva olarak incelendiği kısmında ise dergide yayımlanan yazılar "Töre'de Dil", "Töre'de Milliyetçilik", Töre'de Eğitim", "Töre'de Edebiyat – Sanat", "Töre'de Kültür", "Töre'de Türk Dünyası", "Töre'de Milliyetçilik Karşıtı İdeolojiler" adı altında çeşitli başlıklar hâlinde incelenip sınıflandırılarak Töre dergisinin Türk basın tarihi ve Türk edebiyatındaki yeri ve önemi ortaya konmak istenmiştir.

The Töre journal, one of the most stunning periodicals in the press life of the seventies, had been mentioned very often in its era. The journal, which began to be published for ideological purposes, also had an art and literature dimension, in which the literary, intellectual and daily issues of thought articles and the pen debates it gave place are the most obvious indicators of this. The idea of nationalism is one of the ideas systems of the seventies that was active in both the idea and movement field. The content and intellectual aspect of the journal is based on this system of ideas. From politics to art, the issues covered in the journal were approached from the perspective of the nationalist idea system.
In this study, first of all, the social-political issues of the period in which the journal appeared were addressed to explain better the environment and conditions in which the journal was born. Immediately afterward, the history of the Turkish press was dealt with in chronological form and the development process of the Turkish press life and the place of the journal in the history of the Turkish press were expressed in a general framework. The main part of the study is the examination of the Töre journal in terms of its form and content.
At the first stage, the external appearance and internal arrangement of the journal are examined and thematically stated. In the content of the journal, the articles published in the journal were examined and classified under the titles: "Language in Töre", "Nationalism in Töre", "Education in Töre", "Literature – Art in Töre", "Culture in Töre", "Turkish world in Töre", "Anti-nationalism ideologies in Töre" to put forward the place and importance of Töre journal in Turkish press history and Turkish literature.
