Bu tez çalışması tiyatro tarihimizin altın yılları olarak görülen 1960-80 dönemine damgasını vurmuş toplumcu tiyatro yazarlarımızın eserlerinde görülen biçim sorunlarına odaklanmaktadır. Yazarlarımızın özsel ya da içeriksel olarak eserlerini belirleyen en büyük etmenin Marksist dünya görüşleri olmasıyla bağlantılı olarak, çalışmamız, bu içeriğin, sanat eserine dönüştüğü yerde ne gibi biçimsel sorunların açığa çıktığını tespit etmektedir. Toplumcu kelimesi ele aldığımız yazarları tanımlamak için kullanılan tek kavram değildir ve aynı yazar grubunun ülkemizde, birbirinden farklı kavramlarla tanımlanmasının yarattığı kavram karmaşası birinci bölümün temelini oluşturur. İkinci bölüm ise, toplumcu tiyatronun tarihsel gelişimini besleyen iki temel kaynak üzerinden ele alınmaktadır: Toplumsal mücadeleler ve Marksist estetik. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise, toplumcu tiyatronun tarihsel gelişimi ve ortaya koyduğu kuramsal birikimden yola çıkarak, yazarlarımızın eserlerinde ağırlıklı olarak görülen biçimsel sorunlar üzerinde durulmuştur. Melodramatik öğeler, toplumsal klişeler ve Brecht?i temel alırken onun esaslarını ıskalayan üretimler, bu bölümü şekillendirirken üzerinde durulan sorunlardır. Ve bu sorunların büyük bir kısmı tarihsel koşullarla alakalıdır.
This thesis focuses on the form problems of our theater writers who were active between the years of 1960-80, which are considered to be the golden years of our theatre history. In relation with the fact that the biggest effect that designates these writers' pieces (by origin or by content) is that, their Marxist conception of the world; my work establishes what kind of formal problems occur where the content, mentioned above, turns into a piece of art. The word "socialist" is not the only term that is used to define these writers and the first section is based on this contradiction of terms which is manifested due to the fact that this same group of writers are being defined by several terms. The second section addresses two fundamental sources that nourishes socialist theater's historical development: Social Struggles and Marxist Aesthetics. The third and last section, makes visible the predominantly occurring formal problems, starting from the socialist theater's historical development and its theoretical accumulation. Melodramatic elements, social cliches and the Brecht productions that miss out Brecht's general principles, are the basic problems that embodies this last section. Plus, these problems are largely related to the historical conditions.
