Bu araştırmada, başta süreli yayınlar ve kitaplar olmak üzere birçok kaynak araştırılmış, araştırmanın doğru ilerlemesine yardımcı olacak kaynaklardan yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın ilerleme sürecinde yazarın öznel yorumlarının da katılımının sağlandığı bir süreçle konu itibariyle daha açıklayıcı olacağı düşünülerek yer yer görseller ile desteklenen bir oluşum süreci izlenmiştir. Çalışmanın genel yapısı Türkiye'de 1980'li yıllardan günümüze kadar değişen, dönüşen kentlerin görsel düzlemde oluşturduğu görüntüler, ortaya çıkan kent görünümleri, bunların nitelikleri ve niceliklerinin araştırılması ve bu oluşan görsel izlerin karakterleri ile çağın sanatçısını etkilemesi, nasıl etkilediği ve de bu etkilenim sürecinde 1980'li yıllardan günümüze tarihlenen süreçte eserler üreten Türk ressamların eserlerinde ele alınış şekli ile ilgilenmiştir. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde; 1980'lerden, 90'lara kadar olan süreçteki toplumsal dinamikler, kültürel değişimler ve kentsel görünümler irdelenmiş, içinde bulundukları sanatsal ortam ile ilişkilendirilerek, dönemin ressamlarının kentsel görünümleri resimlerinde kullanım süreci ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde; 1990'lı yıllar ile birlikte değişen kentlerimiz, kentin fiziki yapısındaki yaşanan dönüşümler ve dönemin sanatçılarının eserlerinde plastik süreçte kentin nasıl ele alındığı irdelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise oluşan teknolojik değişimlerle, yaşanan toplumsal dönüşümlerle, bireyin içinde yaşadığı kentlerin de günümüzdeki hale nasıl geldiği açıklanmış, oluşan kentsel dinamiklerin görsel düzlemde 2000'lerden günümüze uzanan sanatçıların yapıtlarında ele alınışı incelenmiştir. Son bölüm olan, dördüncü bölümde ise araştırmacının eserlerine kentsel görünümlerin nasıl yansıdığı ve araştırma çerçevesinde irdelenen sanatçıların plastik süreçlerinin araştırmacının kişisel sanat hayatına etkileri ve faydaları incelenmiştir. In this research, many sources, especially periodicals and books, have been searched and the resources that have been used to help the research move forward have been utilized. In the process of the research, a formation process which was supported by visuals was observed in places where the subjective interpretations of the author were also included. The overall structure of the study, ranging since the 1980s in Turkey, the images created by transforming urban visual plane, the resulting city views, to investigate their nature and quantity, and it consists of visual traces affect the artist's age with the characters, how they affect and in this affected the process in 1980 He has dealt with the way in which Turkish painters who produce works in the process dated from the 18th century to the present day are handled in their works. In the first part of the research; The social dynamics, cultural changes and urban appearances in the period from 1980's to 90's were examined, and the process of using the paintings of the period's painters in relation to the artistic environment was examined. In the second part; Turkish cities which changed with the 1990's, the transformations in the physical structure of the city and how the city was handled in the plastic process in the works of the artists of the period were examined. In the third part, the technological changes, social transformations and how the cities in which the individual lives have become today are explained, the visual dynamics of urban dynamics are examined in the works of artists from 2000's to today. In the last part, in the fourth part, how the urban views are reflected in the works of the researcher and the effects of the plastic processes of the artists examined on the personal life of the researcher are explained.
