Üzerinde çalışma yapılan metin Eski Türkiye Türkçesi dil devresine aittir.Eski Türkiye Türkçesi, Anadolu'da 13. yüzyıldan sonra ortaya çıkan ve içindebulunduğumuz zamana kadar kesintisiz devam eden Anadolu Türkçesinin ilkdevresidir. Bu devre ait metinlerin dil açısından incelenmesi gerek sözlük bilimiaçısından gerekse dil tarihi açısından çok önemlidir. Yine Anadolu Türkçesinin ilkdevrine ait olması da Türk dilinin gelişme seyrine ışık tutar. Bu amaçla, yapılançalışma 14. yüzyılda kaleme alınmış bir sure tefsiridir. Muhtemelen yazarı Mustafabin Muhammed'dir. Giriş dışında, gramer, metin ve ek dizimini içeren bir sözlüktenoluşmuştur. Gramer kısmında Latin harflerine çevrilen metnin kısa bir grameriyapılmıştır. Metin bölümünde tefsirin 30 varaklık kısmı Arap harflerinden Latinharflerine çevrilmiş, sözlük bölümünde de metinde geçen sözcüklerin anlamları,hangi dile ait oldukları, aldığı ekler tespit edilmiştir.
The text that has been worked on, belongs to the Old Turkey Turkishlanguage period. Old Turkey Turkish is the first phase of Anatolian Turkish whichwas formed after 13th century in Anatolia and which continued uninterruptedly tilltoday. The linguistic examinations of the texts belonging to that period are of vitalimportance both in terms of lexicography and of language history. Also the fact thatit belongs to the first period of Anatolian Turkish, sheds light to the devolopment ofTurkish language. Therefore, work been done here is a sura interpretation which hasbeen written in 14th century. Most probably its author is Mustafa bin Muhammad. Inaddition to the Intraduction, it is composed of grammer, text and a dictionary whichconsists of a directory. At the grammer section there is a brief grammer of the textwhich has been translated from Arabic Alphabet to Latin Alphabet and the dictionarysection meaning of the words used in the text,their orginal language and the suffixesattached to them are examined
