Sanayi Devrimi ile birlikte küreselleşen dünyada rekabet edilebilirlik işletmeler için daha önemli hale gelmiştir. İşletmeler birbirleriyle rekabet edebilmek için çevreye verdikleri zararı gözardı etmeye başlamışlardır. Bunun sonucunda, işletmelerin havaya yaydığı zararlı gazlar, sulara bırakılan kimyasal maddeler ve katı atıklar gibi olumsuz etkiler doğada kalıcı zararlara sebep olmuştur. Bu sorunlar ile baş edebilmek için başta gelişmiş devletler olmak üzere uluslararası büyük işletmeler, sivil toplum örgütleri ve çevre bilinci olan tüketiciler çevreye verilen zararın en az düzeye indirilmesi hususunda çalışmalar yapmaktadır. Bu uygulamaların bir tanesi de yeşil tedarik zinciri yönetimidir. Yeşil tedarik zinciri yönetimi hem işletmeye hem de çevreye fayda sağladığı için tüm sektörlerde uygulanması gerekmektedir. Bu sektörlerden biri de gıda sektörüdür. Gıda sektörü; tarım ürünlerinin değerlendirilmesi, sanayiye hammadde temini, toplumun beslenmesi, istihdama ve dış ticarete katkısı sebebiyle her ülkenin ekonomik ve sosyal kalkınması için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu yüzden gıda sektöründe üretim arzının arttırılabilmesi ve sürdürülebilirlik konusunda bilincin sağlanabilmesi için yeşil tedarik zinciri yönetimi oldukça önemlidir. Araştırmanın amacı, yeşil uygulamaların ve yeşil tedarik zincirine zorlayan nedenlerin işletme performansı üzerindeki etkisini ortaya çıkartmaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemi Mersin'de faaliyet gösteren gıda ürünleri imalatı yapan 114 işletmeden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada anket yolu ile elde edilen veriler faktör, korelasyon ve regresyon analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda yeşil tedarik zinciri uygulamalarının ve yeşil tedarik zinciri yönetimine zorlayan nedenlerin işletme performansını etkilediği tespit edilmiştir.
In the globalized world, with the Industrial Revolution, competitiveness has become more important for enterprises. In order to compete with each other, businesses have started to ignore the damage they cause to the environment. As a result, adverse effects such as harmful gases emitted to the air, chemicals released to the waters and solid wastes have started to cause permanent damage to the environment. In order to cope with these problems, especially developed countries, international large enterprises, non-governmental organizations and environmentally conscious consumers are working to minimize the damage to the environment. One of these applications is green supply chain management. Since green supply chain management benefits both the business and the environment, it must be implemented in all sectors. One of these sectors is the food sector. Food industry; It is of great importance for the economic and social development of each country because of the evaluation of agricultural products, supply of raw materials to industry, nutrition of society, contribution to employment and foreign trade. For this reason, green supply chain management is very important in order to increase the production supply in the food sector and to raise awareness about sustainability. The aim of the research is to find out the impact of green supply chain implementations and GSCM pressure/driver practices on business performance. The sample of the research consists of 114 enterprises that produce food products in Mersin. In the research, the data obtained through the survey were analyzed by factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. As a result of the research, green supply chain implementations and GSCM pressure/driver practices affected business performance.
