Yapılan bu çalışma, Antalya ve çevresinde yayılış gösteren Mauremys rivulata (Valenciennes, 1833) türünün helmint faunasını kapsamaktadır. Mart 2009 ve Ekim 2010 tarihleri arasında toplanan 20 adet bireyin iç organlarının incelenmesi sonucunda 6 türe (Telorchis stossichi, Patagium lazarewi, Polystomum ocellatum, Serpinema microcephalus, Spironoura armenica ve Spiroxys contortus) ait toplam 1731 adet helmint bireyine rastlanmıştır. Teşhis edilen türlerden Telorchis stossichi ve Patagium lazarewi Digenea alt sınıfına, Polystomum ocellatum Monogenea alt sınıfına, Serpinema microcephalus, Spironoura armenica ve Spiroxys contortus Nematoda şubesine aittir. Ayrıca bazı Digenea ve Nematoda larvaları da bulunmuştur. Bunlardan Polystomum ocellatum türü, Türkiye'de yaşayan tatlısu kaplumbağaları için, Spiroxys contortus türü ise Türkiye'de yaşayan M. rivulata türü için yeni kayıttır.
This study, includes helminth fauna of Mauremys rivulata (Valenciennes, 1833), spreading in the vicinity of Antalya. As a result of the investigation, from the internal organs of the 20 individuals which were collected between March 2009 and October 2010, six helminth species, (Telorchis stossichi, Patagium lazarewi, Polystomum ocellatum, Serpinema microcephalus, Spironoura armenica and Spiroxys contortus) with the total number of 1731 helminth individuals, were found. The identified species, Telorchis stossichi and Patagium lazarewi belongs to subclassis Digenea, Polystomum ocellatum to subclassis Monogenea,, Serpinema microcephalus, Spironoura armenica and Spiroxys contortus to the phylum Nematoda. In addition, some larvae of Digenea and Nematoda were also found. Polystomum ocellatum is the new record for freshwater turtles, living in Turkey and Spiroxys contortus is new record for M. rivulata, living in Turkey.
