Olay, düsünce, duygu ve hayallerin dil aracılıgıyla sözlü veya yazılı olarakbiçimlendirilmesi sanatına edebiyat diyoruz. Edebiyatın ifade imkânı ve etki alanı çokgenistir. Bu çalısmada; Çorum tarihi, Türk Edebiyatı'nın en eski siir geleneklerindenbiri olan ?âsık tarzı siir türü?nün ana hatları, bu gelenegin Çorum ilindeki yansımasıve bu gelenegi Çorum'da sürdüren Âsık Rıfat KURTOGLU islenmistir.Çorum'un hem Türklerin egemenliginden önceki tarihi hem de Türk yurdu olmasındansonraki tarihi kısaca anlatılmıstır.Âsık tarzı Türk siiri islenirken, âsıklık geleneginin tarihsel süreci ve etkilesimleriaktarılmaya çalısılmıstır. Bu gelenege uygun olarak, Çorum'da âsıklık geleneginedeginilmis, çesitli çıkarımlar yapılmıstır.Âsıklık geleneginin Çorum'daki temsilcilerinden Âsık Rıfat KURTOGLU'nun hayatıve edebi sahsiyeti son bölümde tanıtılmaya çalısılmıstır. Türk kültürü açısındanönemli bir yere sahip olan, emek ve özveri isteyen âsıklık gelenegini ögrenmenedenleri yol ve yordamları özlü bir biçimde anlatılmıstır. Bu ögrendiklerini, bilgi vebirikimini, sairligini ortaya koyarak yazdıgı eserleri derlenmis konularına göre tasnifedilmistir. We call literature to the art of shaping events, feelings and imaginations as oral orwritten through the help of language. The possipility of expression and the impactfield of literature are very wide. In this work; the history of Corum, the main parts of?minstrel poem? which is one of the oldest poetry tradition of Turkish literature, thereflection of this custom in Corum and Minstrel Rifat Kurtoglu who continues thiscustom in Corum are studied.The history of Corum, both the one before Turkish domination and the one afterbeing Turkish land is briefly examined.While examining mistrel type of Turkish poetry, it has been tried to be informedabout the historical period and interactions of the custom. In accordance with thecustom, there has been a focus on the custom of minstrel in Corum, variousderivations have been done.The life and the literary personage of Minstrel Rifat Kurtoglu, one of therepresantatives of minstrelness custom in Corum, have been tried to be introduced inthe last chapter. The reasons and ways of learning the custom of poetry, which has abig importance in Turkish culture and needs attention have been substentiallydescribed. His works formed by the things he learned, his knowledge and his abilityin poetry, were gathered together and classificated.
