BİLGİSAYAR DESTEKLİ ÖĞRETİM İÇİN UZMAN SİSTEM TABANLI BİR KABUK PROGRAMIN GELİŞTİRİLMESİ VE ETKİLİLİĞİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ (Doktora Tezi) Aslıhan Tüfekçi HOTOMAROĞLU GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Temmuz 2002 ÖZET Son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalar, bilgisayar destekli öğretim alanında ders yazılımı ihtiyacının karşılanabilmesi için en uygun yöntemin, ders yazılımlarının öğretmenler tarafından geliştirilmesi olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Bu çalışmada, uzman sistem teknikleri ile bir kabuk program geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen bu kabuk program, farklı branşlardan ve öğretim düzeylerindeki öğretmenlerden oluşan bir grup üzerinde uygulanarak etkililiği değerlendirilmiştir. Bu amaçla üç tip veri toplama aracı hazırlanmıştır. Bunlar; araştırmaya katılan deneklerin kişisel özelliklerini ve bilgisayar teknolojilerine ilişkin deneyimlerini belirlemeye yönelik olarak hazırlanan bilgi formu, deneklerin kabuk program hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemek için hazırlanan değerlendirme anketi ve kabuk programın kullanım başarısını ölçmek amacıyla hazırlanan başarı testidir. Yapılan değerlendirme sonunda çalışmanın hedefine ulaştığı, hazırlanan kabuk programın uygulamada başarılı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. DEVELOPMENT OF AN EXPERT SYSTEM BASED PROGRAM FOR COMPUTER ASSISTED INSTRUCTION AND ASSESMENT OF ITS EFFECTIVENESS (Ph.D. Thesis) Aslihan Tüfekçi HOTOMAROGLU GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY July 2002 ABSTRACT Recent studies have proven that the most appropriate and effective method to meet the instruction software needs in computer-assisted education is the development of the instruction software by instructors. Within the scope of this study, a program shell has been developed with the help of expert system techniques. The developed program shell has been implemented on instructors from different disciplines and levels of education and the effectiveness of this study has been evaluated. The objective of this study is to design and evaluate the effectiveness of a program for computer-assisted instruction that is oriented towards instructional material preparation based on expert systems. In this perspective, three types of data collection tools are designed: A data form is developed to find a correlation between the personal attributes and computer knowledge of the instructor, who will use the shell program. A questionnaire to acquire the views and comments of instructors on the program. A single group pre-test and post-test model to measure the utilisation success of the program shell. Consequently, it is all clear from the evaluation that the objective of this study has been reached and the program shell is found to be successful in implementation.
