ÖZET: Anaerkil toplumdan ataerkil topluma geçiş sürecinde ortaya çıkan fahişelik, halen tarih sahnesinden inmemiştir. Ataerkil sistemin temelinde varolan iyi-kötü kadın ayrımının ortaya çıkmasına hizmet eden fahişelik, sinemada da benzer şekilde yansımasını bulmuştur. 1980 öncesi iki uç tanımla gösterilen iyi - kötü kadın ayrımı, fahişelerin kendi arasında bile "namuslu fahişe" olgusunun ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. 1980 askeri darbesinin ardından yaşanan değişim Türk sinemasına da yansımıştır. 1980 sonrası bireysel sorunlar üzerine odaklanan sinema, feminist hareketin de etkisiyle kadın konulu filmlere ağırlık vermiştir. Sinema kadınların birey olma sorunlarına değinirken, fahişelerin de insan olma çabası ele alınmıştır. Dolayısıyla fahişeliği kendisine konu edinen bu dönem filmlerinde de, dönemin genel özelliklerine ve feminist hareketin etkisine rastlanır. 1980 - 1990 arası dönemdeki filmlerin sonlarında fahişeler daha yoğun olarak ölümle cezalandırılırken, 1990 sonrasında fahişelere alternatif kurtuluş yollan sunulduğu görülmektedir. 162
ABSTRACT : The prostitution that appeared in the transition period of matriarchal society into patriarchal society has not removed from historical scene, yet. This institution that functions to produce the difference between the good and the bad woman which forms the basis of patriarchal system has also found its reflections in the cinema. The discrimination between the good and the bad woman that was displayed in two extreme ways before 1980's had caused to emerge an idea such as "honorable prostitute" even between prostitutes. The transformation that happened after the military stroke of 1980 reflected on Turkish Cinema, as well. Cinema, that focused on individual problems which occurred after 1980 had increased the importance of women theme in films with the influence of feminist movements. Cinema, that focused on women's problems of being individuals at the same time it examined prostitutes' endeavors to be human beings. Consequently, in this type of films that accept prostitution as a subject to itself, the characteristics of that mentioned period and also the influence of feminist movements are seen to be on the stage. While prostitutes were punished with death penalty at the end of films that were made between the periods of 1980-1990, after 1990 it has been seen how prostitutes are offered with alternative solutions in films. 163
