İstanbul Üniversitesi, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Özel Hukuk Ana Bilim Dalı nezdinde doktora tezi olarak hazırlanan, Futbola İlişkin Uyuşmazlıklar ve Çözüm Yolları başlıklı tez çalışmasında, futbolun dünyadaki yapılanması, futbola ilişkin uyuşmazlıkların türleri, tarafları ve futbola ilişkin uyuşmazlıkların çözümünde hangi yargı organlarının görevli ve yetkili olacağı araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada futbol uyuşmazlıkları ile ilgili olarak sınırlı kaynaklar olması nedeniyle daha çok spor hukuku kaynakları, FIFA, UEFA ve TFF talimatları ile futbolun yapılanması içinde yer alan ulusal ve uluslararası federasyonların yargı organlarında, uyuşmazlık çözüm merciileri ile Uluslararası Spor Tahkim Mahkemesi (CAS)kararları incelenmiştir. Tez çalışmasının sonucunda, futbolun, kendine özgü kuralları ve ihtiyaçları olduğu ve bu sebeple futboldan doğan ihtilafların, futbolun bu ihtiyaçlarını ve yapılanma içindeki kurallarını bilen kişi ve organlarca çözümlenmesi gerektiği sonuç ve kanaatine varılmıştır.
In this dissertation on the topic of "Disputes Regarding Football and Its Remedies", written as a doctorate thesis for the Civil Law Department of the Social Sciences Institute at Istanbul University, the structuring of football in the world, the types of disputes regarding football, the parties to such disputes, and the judicial authorities having competence and jurisdiction to hear disputes regarding football have been evaluated. During the research, as there were limited sources for disputes regarding football, sources in sport law, directives from FIFA, UEFA and TFF as well as judicial authorities and the dispute resolution institutions established within national and international federations which take part in the structuring of football were examined instead. In the conclusion of this dissertation, it has been considered that football has its own rules and requirements, and therefore disputes arising from football have to be resolved through individuals and institutions having knowledge of such requirements and rules.
